government worker ke.i am just a regular skilled worker o in the private sector.The old system took 12month to 14months,but in september 2015 the delay started citing the syrian refugee crisis and all.This went on till 2016,after the initial delay,some 2014 applicant got updates and medical early 2016 and randomly during the year but wasnt that lucky,only to get MR this month.All this while EE application was being processed and most met the 6months processing duration.

I will create a new profile next month(dont see the cut off points going above 450 anytime soon) and once i get ITA,will hold on for 60days to 70days before submitting.I believe i have 90days after ITA to submit application.

I know d wait has been long, but it may not be a wise decision to create another profile on EE since u already have an active application in progress. BTW a colleague of mine received similar MR along with request for bank statements, employment letter etc last week. He is also from d old system. So I guess they are processing 2014FSWs now.

Guys, please I have an urgent question. I got into the pool(EE profile) however my WES result wasn't out yet, I actually thought it will come out before I get an ITA but from all indication, this does not seen plausible. Please what do I do if I am invited to apply? anyone had similar experience? I was desperate and didn't think it will matter until i started speaking to people. My score now is 421. What do I do? experts in the house please i need your advice.

Hello everyone.
I've been following the thread since I started my Express entry application, I got ITA in the last draw and I've been trying to package my application but I've met a few stumbling blocks which I hope gurus here will be able to help with.
1. My son's name was misspelt on the medical form but when we discovered the error and contacted the panel physician, we were told the results have been sent already and can no longer be altered. I'm thinking swearing an affidavit to state that it was an error since the passport number is the same will help or what do you guys advise?
2. We've taken a number of passport photos and they still didn't meet the photo requirements, how have you guys been going about meeting the right specifications for the photos? Any one with a good photographer that can take the required photo can PM his/her contact.

It's not a problem!
If ur documents including ur marriage cert r in ur maiden name, hope u know u can continue with that all thru and still be married.

If any of ur documents in husband name, then u shud upload marriage cert in his name + legal name change publication, timing doesn't matter.

Schedule A/travel history request for me was on March 8.(36 days after AOR) March 20(updated pof) March 21(proof of relationship , relationship pixes, IMM008 form e.t.c)

Since you are sending it to Ghana, I will advise you use DHL instead as I heard VFS takes ages. This might have changed sha. The decision is yours to make. Find below details I found out on how to send your passport to Accra Office. Please note that there might be recent changes that I am not aware of.

For DHL, you will visit their office to send your passports and all other required documents to Accra Visa Office. They will not allow you to add pre-paid envelope (to return your passports and COPR back to you) for business operational reasons. What they will do is to have your docs delivered to Accra VO and once your passport is ready, Accra VO will send you an email that your passport is ready for collection. You will then visit their office and give them a copy of the email and possibly a consent letter to pick up the Passport from the VO on your behalf. You will need to pay additional money for the pick up. They will now help you to collect it from Accra and send it to your address or for pick up at DHL office.


For VFS, you will visit their office with all your documents and they will provide the details of how they will send it to you. You will be given an option to either pick up your passports from their office or to have it delivered to your home address. For VFS, you will be able to track it all the way through. They will send your passports to VO and help you to collect it back. I have read somewhere that it might take up to 1-2 months for you to receive your passports and COPR.

I think it takes about 2 weeks to a month for Accra VO to send back your COPR

Google IMM8 form to get the form or check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf. complete the form online, print it and include it with your passport and photos. Please note that you need the latest Acrobat Reader to be able to view it and complete the form. The latest version was issued in March 2017.

With regard to photographs, why don't you go to a professional photographer? I believe you will be able to find one around you.

You should note that the 410 CRS score is not required to enter into the EE pool. Rather, another point-based parameter is used. You must score a minimum of 67 on the scale.
Double-check the information you filled in your profile again.
You stated that you have above $12,200. Are you single or married?
What is the level of your education?
Which NOC do you have experience in? How many years?
How old are you?
