bigbroda: Really angry and feeling devastated right now. July 8th exam result just came out and it was a mess up for me. LSRW-7.5,7,6.5,7.5. Feel so hurt and tired of the whole thing. Ain't doing dat exam again perhaps for now. Gotta take a break, Ontario might call while chilling being an IT person with 381 which is possibly hitting 390 after spouse's ECA or EE cut off just come down to 390 while I believe will happen someday from a personal study. I will be glad to embrace any of the stated options. Gotta take a break but before dat lemme ask for a remark in listening and reading. Who knows, something good might come outta dat cos I'm a bit optimistic about it especially for the listening. Guyz, can someone please list all the steps involved in asking for a remark biko. Dat's all I need for now. Salam! |

Update when you get your certificate, people do have a way of generating the number, but why risk it? What if its wrong, just go and collect your certificate as soon as you can and update everything at once. Just my personal opinion. 1 Like |

Good Morning, I am 29yrs Old, would be 30 by December(Single), I have 3years experience in Systems and Network Administration, with the Last 5 months in a Multinational firm. I recently revived my Long concived interest in applying for the FSWP. So while trying to get things sorted, I got this link( http://pinoy-canada.com/articles/ontario-immigrant-nominee-program-oinp-2017-updates/ ) from someone. I would like to know if the information contained there is still useful, and also ask for some tips on how to process and Pay for WES - I finished from Lautech. I'll also like to know if WAEC certificate verification with WES is necessary in this regard considering the fact that I am applying as a graduate. Thank you. |

bigbroda: I can only imagine how u feel at the moment. Despite how discouraged you are, it's not time to give up. Infact, it's time to square your shoulders and push harder. Get a remark if it will ease your mind but be prepared for any outcome cos listening and reading rarely get bumped up. Also keep in mind that remarking takes minimum 8weeks... Get more cambridge ielts materials and "digest" the tactics of answering correctly in less than the real exam time...:::score yourself, practice until you maintain 38/39/40 consistently. Recreate your profile so that OINP may select u and keep that as plan B... Above all, keep being positive. Keep praying. Cheers bro...we shall all get there. 4 Likes |

So sorry about this but I believe it will end in praise.. Either Ontario nominates you or you get a favourable remark.. You will get your ITA this year. I haven't done a remark before but I understand there is a form you would fill at the British council and you pay 15k. I guess experienced guys can guide you further. All the best and looking forward to your testimony. bigbroda: 3 Likes |

My one kobo advice. Avoid WES and use IQAS. You can search for previous posts on them. Your waec result is not relevant for this purpose. Just your bsc is enough. Patiently read through this thread esp the first few pages and understand the requirements. You may not need a Ontario nomination If u can get at least 8 in listening and 7 in the other areas of IETLS.. Focus on your goals and get down to business. All the best. Rightthumb: 1 Like |

Hello e-Family and big big congratulations to our PPR recipient. Just a quick one.... 1. Can anyone give me a step by step procedure in applying to WES for my ECA including all monetary requirements? 2. Any Uniben Alumni in the house that have gone true this transcript thing, how much does it cost and how flexible is it? 3. Do i have to apply to WES first before sending my transcript or vise-versa. Awaiting feedback, i feel blessed to be here. |

Rightthumb: Yes, the information is true. So far theve had only a round of invite in the week of June 28th. NOI was given to as low as 308 Crs score so Be prepared if you are an ICT professional. WES is required for ur highest degree obtained. Google Wes and follow all registration instructions on their Web page. |

Hello house just checked my result for 8th july LSRW 8,7.5,6.5,6.5 giving me a score of 406 in the pool. this is my second attempt, my first attempt i had LSRW 6.5,8,6,7.5 giving me a crs score of 387. Now i dnt want to tink of re-writing cos i am yet to even do my eca and now all my energy is channeled to doing it. I read here sometimes ago that one can request for re-mark for all section with just 15k. I am thinking of requesting for a re-mark for my S,R,W. My questions: Will just 15K cover for all sections i want to remark? Please what is the process for requesting re-mark? Has there been anytime a score was downgraded? I know my reading wasnt so good but i feel since i am requesting for remark i cld add it to it. (Is it wise?) My great canny people pls help. |

Seems you didnt read my comment. All the best as you use WES but get ready for delays due to verification especially with the strike experienced by your school. In the end it is up to you to make a decision Rightthumb: 1 Like |

bigbroda: bigbrodas don't quit in the face of challenge!... I'm sure most people here can relate with having to write the exam for three times and perhaps for the fourth time. To say the least, there's the financial implication and there's the physiological effect. Three times is daunting talk little of four times. I only have one word to say - Persevere. I'm yet to take mine but let me share one tip I noticed to have improved my practice score in listening. When you mark yourself after the test, please do not write the right answers where you got it wrong, just mark the whole test without noting the particular questions you got wrong nor their correct answers. If you write the answers and probably check through the test afterwards, your brain will most likely remember the answers the next time you take that particular test, so in effect, you've not trained yourself to listen for the answers but rather trained yourself to pick the answers. Another less difficult way is to note the questions you got wrong but not their answers (for same reason above), here, when you get to the part of the question, you listen more attentively for the answer as you already know which part of the audio to watch out for. I hope this help you, me and others to take the test. cc: demilola1978 5 Likes |

fidelism: I will need to do a search for you. But the point is that you might have a Crs score of above 400 and still be ineligible for express entry if u do not met the min req of 67/100. Modified: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp Point grids for each factor: Language skills Education Experience Age Arranged employment in Canada Adaptability Each factor has a max score.
