I travel a lot and have noticed how people hustle just to get the near driver sit just like how ladyf and introvert (both e-missing) hustle for FTC on NL, I will give a outlook of different character I noticed being displayed by people that take that next to driver sit. the list is not conclusive, so you can add yours.

1. THE SLEEPER : mostly he, he sit conveniently on his sit and after the bus pastor finish the prayers, his sleeping talent take over and you see him swaying from left to right all thanks to the naija road , and most drivers frown at such people because they transfer negative energy to them and apart from that physically they pose risk to the driver also .

2. THE EMERGENCY DJ : mostly he, he immediately start checking the drivers store of discs few minute into the journey and even some go as far as buying disc to play if to them the music store of the driver is wack, and you see them changing the disc from one to another, I personally enjoy this type of near driver passenger especially when his choice of music is refined.

3. THE TALKER ACTIVE : sometimes he/she, They showcase their talking talent , they know apparently about every facet of life, talk politics, sport, tradition, road networking, etc . they engage the driver in conversation nearly throughout the journey. the drivers mostly fancy this sort of people while other passengers mostly frown at them.

4. Mr ABRAMOVIC : from the mr, u don't need any gender introduction again, this set of people always look to me like when traveling they prepare for the near driver sit and also budget for the driver feeding, when they buy anything they buy the driver own, when there is a stop and you see them coming back to board the bus there both hands will be full of their own stuff and driver's own. am so sure they are driver's favourite near sit type of passenger.

5. Mr MAP : he knows all the roads in Nigeria, the only thing left for him is taking over the driver's sit . when a road is busy he quickly suggest another one, sometimes some of the them argues with the driver on his choice of route plied. I think drivers are indifferent about them.

6. THE LEARNER : very rare I think, they turn the driver to a teacher and steer continuously at his hand and leg like their life depends on it. they hardly talk to the drivers .

I also seize these opportunity to wish all frequent travellers safe journey always and also those that travel once a while. and don't forget feel free to add yours . stay bless
