Although, both disciplines have knowledge on process control and understanding. In terms of understanding the mechanisms and the systems of process control, I would give the edge to electrical engineers. In terms of using the overall process and finding ways to fully maximized the system for optimization purposes, I would give the edge to chemical engineers. It depends on what one is trying to achieve/accomplish in this matter. |
