Abuja - A man was sent to hospital after he accidentally shot his penis while his gun was sitting in his pocket, MirrorUK reported.
Neighbours of the man heard him screaming in pain after they heard a loud bang coming from his apartment. The neighbours then called the paramedics, who then took him to hospital.

When police questioned what had happened, the man lied and claimed he was robbed.
A search warrant was conducted at his apartment and police found bullet fragments in his bed.
He was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
