Toyin Saraki Represents Aisha Buhari At UN Meeting


Wife of the Senate President, Mrs. Toyin Saraki on Monday represented the wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, at a meeting of Organisation of African First Ladies in New York.


The meeting, which bordered on First Ladies’ advocacy against HIV/AIDS (OAFLA) was held on sidelines of the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, New York City.


Mrs. Saraki took to her Twitter handle (@Toyinsaraki) to announce the delivering of Mrs Buhari’s speech at the meeting.


Delivering the speech, Toyin quoted Aisha Buhari as commending the dedication and focus of the First Spouses on HIV AIDs in African nations.


The development may have put to rest the insinuation that the presidency is in loggerheads with Senate President Bukola Saraki
