I'd like to know if the nokia 6230i, comes with an inbuilt java,cos i've bin trying to load and download some java application to this phone and they are not coming all i get is application not supported.

hOW CAN I GO ABOUT IT,COS I NEED TO DOWNLOAD SOME REAL INTRESTING SOFTWARE TO THE PHONE.

@sender, 6230i has a limit of 1.5mb java downld at max as it cant even install java on d card. wot a deficient

any java size exceding like 200kb might not be downloaded fr d internt except u install fr d pc

u can imagine wat kinda limit uve on java installables for ur fone, u can imagine me installing 5mb plus java game/app on my s60v3 . .well wat can i say,

But can explain the difference between s40 and s60 phones with nokia examples ,cos i don't understand what u mean by that.

with S60v2 for at least, u ve so much to download most especially wen u ve bigger card.

I got to know of recent that the phone is chine made.So i had to go to computer village to sell it off before the thing go finally quench for my hand,

Of late,i discovered it doesn't the ringer is faulty,moreso,anytime i'm browsing the fone trips off and the thing no even dey allow some real application like anything java,Operamini,Bolt,etc, I sold it for #3,500 and i bought it for 7k,i'd only used it for less than a month.

But,which phone,would u advice me to buy now,wey get Micro SD,supports all file format especially java, operamini,bolt etc, bluetooth,FM,and camera,

I'm thinking of 6300,2600c or any s60 phone,

6230 and 6230i both dont accept Games from the PC it only when u download it from the internet
and they install games not others application.
but 6230i also install Themes otan !!! so if u are too crazy about application is not advisable.

I seem to have a different experience with this phone. Being an older model which is no longer in production, it doesn't support most of the newer java apps. However, I found it quite robust as a GPRS/EDGE modem for PCs and laptops. The battery life is ok. Just make sure all the functions are tested before buying.

As for a replacement phone, why not buy nokia 3110c?

6230i can install some low size games via pc so far u still ve free mem on ur fone. but am not sure of 6230. My guy, u can get some Nokia Nseries btw 15-20k
