There's an article stating that 'Subsidy On Petrol Falls To N576m Daily'.
A welcome development.
But-
Why do I get the impression that we're being led by the nose?
What ever happened to documented evidence? I expect there are invoices and receipts to show what comes in each month.
But 40 million liters?
In an economic downturn?
Exactly 40 MILLION- still?!
Haba!
Why can't the NNPC just publish the total for each month of the last quarter, as well as the marketers, tonnage, value, shippers and dates? Or do they? I no see am, na hin make I dey ask.
Isn't transparency the reason why NOI published all monthly allocations?
Isn't transparency one of the key elements of 'putting structures in place' to ensure strong institutions?
Does Kachikwu need to be ADVISED that this is good, even necessary practice?
Please, someone should tell the man to do the needful and publish those documents, abeg.
'Nuff said.

Meanwhile, why can't both the marketers and shippers accept crude as payment instead of dollars?
Wouldn't that relieve pressure on the naira? Unless they (hopefully) already do so?
Just wondering...

I would've been humbled, but relieved and gratified if you'd countered my questions with facts, rather than insults.
Besides, my post is a rejoinder to the post that actually gave the link-
http://www.punchng.com/business/business- economy/subsidy-on-petrol-falls-to-n576m-daily/

No matter. Moving on.
I've spent 5 minutes on google in order to get a second link as requested, since the NNPC's website only has information for previous years and ALL it"s reports contain disclaimers about the figures-

http://naija247news.com/2015/08/nigerias-local-refinery-woes-deepens-as-fuel-importation-continues-in-q3/

Now that your rage has been assuaged- assuming you read the article in the above link, could you please focus on the questions I asked?

Lastly, please ensure that while you express your 'freedom of expression', you avoid causing innocent readers unnecessary distress with bad grammar.
Thanks.

Other links to follow shortly.

The following are from the NNPC's website.
You can see the first screenshot shows the latest update of Monthly Petroleum Information.
The second screenshot shows that the last actual report was for the THIRD QUARTER of 2014; there has been NO REPORT for 2015. Therefore anyone asking for official figures- especially with the disclaimers the NNPC attaches to it's reports- is going to be disappointed.
But it's been reported that the government has ordered a total of 180,000 tons of pms for Q4 of 2015.
Calculate how much that comes to daily.

Do some research, before you insult people for no just reason.
