Google incorporated services are available worldwide with various products such as: Google search, Gmail, Android, YouTube etc. which the company has used to build in 17years a large customer base as well as revenue. In 2014 google’s ad revenue was estimated at $66 billion, these ads are sold through Google’s products (Google search, YouTube, Adsense). Google inc. currently valued at about $367.6 billion has its foundation google.org where it states that $100,000,000 in grants, 80,000 hours and $1 billion in products is donated each year.

Google announced in 2013 its vision to help improve Africa’s internet sector with “Project Link”. This announcement was followed up by development and partnership in Uganda with “RENU” (Research and Education Network Uganda), this made Uganda the first African country to benefit from Google’s “project Link”.
