8 out of the 21 ministerial nominees have so far submitted their CVs to Senate.

The nominees were cited at the National Assembly complex on Thursday rushing to submit their CVs to beat the deadline.

The deadline for the submission of nominees’ CVs is Friday

Those that have submitted their CVs so far are Senator Chris Ngige (Anambra state) Dr. Ogbonaya Onu (Ebonyi) , Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (Kano), Audu Ogbeh (Benue), Senator Udoma Udo Udoma (Akwa Ibom), Engineer Suleiman Adamu (Jigawa), Dr. Osagie Ehanire (Edo) and Ibrahim Usman Jibril.

Senate President had on Tuesday while unveiling the names of the ministerial nominees directed the nominees to submit their CVs and other documentations to aid senators during the screening exercise on Tuesday.

The remaining nominees are expected to submit theirs before the close of work tomorrow.

There is difference between to rule and to lead. It does not require CV to lead. Being a PHD holder doesn't determine a good leader. Let Nigerians decide and not the corrupt Senators.

Mine opinion is to make the screening portfolio-based. All the nominees should be assigned with a portfolio and ask to present a paper on how to make the sector works progressively. The paper should be submitted within a week. That determines theirs IQ capacity and intellectual vision for the Change we all aspire for.
