Many Nigerians view Femi Falana as an activist lawyer, but people that know Femi Falana knows that he is a lawyer that only stands for the now popular term in Nigerian know as "stomach infrastructure".

Prior to the arrest of the pathetic greedy frog-eyed ex-minister of petroleum - Dieziani Allison Madueke, we knew all along, that billions of $$ were siphoned by her on behalf of GEJ barely weeks after she appointed. In 2011 when she decided to ignore established industry players from bidding the oil wells that were leased by Shell Petroleum and instead sold OMLs worth nothing upwards of $1.5billion to Jide Omekere's Atlantic Energy and Seven Energy (co-owned by the crook - Kola Aluko), Femi Falana served as their lawyer to squash the first media house that exposed this deal to Nigeria - 234NEXT.

For those that remember 234NEXT, they were the "Saharareporters" resident in Nigeria. They were fearless. They were the first media house to expose the Halliburton and Siemen's scandal in Nigeria. No other media house was brave enough to expose it. Ofcourse, we know what happens to such people. With the help of Femi Falana this Newspaper was sent packing from Nigeria. Today they are no more; and people like Mr. Falana where at the forefront of shutting them up, after being paid millions by the crooked trio - Aluko, Dieziani and Omokere.

In 234Next's report they did not shy away from stating the role Mr. Falana played in this monumental theft. Here is an exerpt from the article. Click on the link at the end of the article to read the full article published by 234 NEXT in 2011.

"Seven Energy, through its lawyer, Femi Falana, who also acts on behalf of the NNPC, has served notice to this newspaper that it intends to file a lawsuit against us. Phillip Ihenacho, chairman of Seven Energy, has told our reporter that his company has conducted itself honourably and legally in the no-tender transaction approved for his firm by Mrs Alison-Madueke. What is more, an oil trading company controlled by Mr Omokore, called SPOG, faces accusations of fraud in a petition to the office of the attorney general and minister of justice. SPOG is alleged to have, on at least one occasion, imported 3,000 metric tonnes of refined petroleum but claimed subsidy refunds on 13,000 metric tonnes from the PPPRA, the petroleum pricing agency under Mrs Alison-Madueke’s supervision. The payoff from that single alleged inflated transaction was N400 million."

Beware Nigerians for those that say they are fighting for you. Femi Falana is nothing but a greedy, crooked, none-principled man who stands for nothing but his pocket!

A lawyer does the job of a lawyer using the courts and legal instruments, yet you complain informally on the Internet.

If you think he is guilty of any crime or has breached the ethics of his profession, I believe you know where to channel a formal complaint.

Yeah CramJones, can you recall the reactions of the 'activists' to Gani Fawehinmi over the 'Toronto saga' of the man that has so much in common with the 'frog-eyed ex-minister of petroleum '?

Don't you think that most of these people (including you) have their thinking faculties locked in the stomachs?

The fight has always been between the 'haves' and the 'have nots', you know where you belong...on the same side with Femi but you are faceless.

If Femi Falana was rendering his legal services and was being paid for legal services rendered, I wonder what this thread or this report is really about.

Cramjones, if a lawyer delivering legal services and being paid for it is what you call 'standing for stomach infrastructure', then I'm sorry, you are making no sense.
