Like I said earlier, most Samsung phones have partial contact with gps antenna at the back of the phone, though that has been corrected with the new ones.

These below could help out with gps issues for Samsung.

Ensure google location method is turned to *high accuracy*

For those with fluctuating gps signal, turn off Wi-Fi and use normal phone data.

Use GPS TEST (play store) to check for satellite fixes

Phone back covers obstruct GPS signal especially for ones with defects.

Samsung have built_in gps chipset, the signal should be top notch.

But If your Samsung phone cant acquire a single satellite indoors(GPS test app) and only manages like 2 satellite outdoors, you possibly have a defective antenna.

How do you fix this.

A good technician should know how to.
You can also Google to know the exact location of the antenna to help the repair.

If youre tech savy with experience in stuff like this, Google is your friend.

I fixed mine myself ( DON'T TRY WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW)

If its a calibration issue (Samsung) dail *#0*# and click sensor
If you don't see a 3 with a blue line , you need to calibrate your device by flipping your phone in different directions till you see it at 3 with blue line.
Exit and do the gps test outdoors.

If all this wahala is too much and cash is of concern
Get a good-untampered-with toks HTC M7, it has a great inbuilt GPS chipset, fix satellite in seconds.
Cost about 18k or less/more.
Downside, bad camera in dark, and cos of its aluminum covering, it gets hot. So your car A/C to the rescue.

Or get a phone with gps chipset inbuilt not some phone with AGPS.

If it's on Taxify, he does not need to visit their office.
It will be open back within 24hours.
I had been in similar shoe twice .

Yes, you have to visit the office. You'll have to undergo re-training.

Most Samsung flagship phones have issues with the positioning of the gps antenna.
Terminals partial contact is the major culprit.
Also, closeness to the Wi-Fi chip also distorts signal.

The issues have been fixed from s6 edge+ upwards.

I use s6 edge plus and I can't just get enough of it. Wonderful!

Also attach good pictures, full body, interior, side views etc.

Like Uncle G, pointed out, 3.0Ltr engine isn't perfect for people on Rental because of fuel consumption.

Who else is still driving on taxify with expired papers. Uber blocked my acct on exact expiration date, I renew papers and reupload, I can't even find where to upload documents on taxify.

Story 1
During one of our installs, the client shared with us how Mr Ayo (not his real name) borrowed his brothers car, and waylaid in the night somewhere in Lagos. Err what's the acceptable bribe rate for Frsc I was caught pressing away on my phone and it ended with me giving them 2k......so was I cheated? Or should I go back and ask for refund?

do you use a back case for your phone?, if yes, remove it. secondly, occasionally put on flight mode and put it off again. you can also calibrate your gps. I use a samsung S6 and I don't have gps issues though my gps occasionally looses signal but it comes back with a tap at the phones's back.
Bro please can you put me tru on how to make use of Google map to look for alternative route, av been having issue with riders on it. Rider keep saying I went to go and take long journey so that my their bill wil fAT. Pls I think I don't know how to make use of it accurately.
