[quote author=peeps4u post=84746139]If I may ask, was it the company that reviewed the downpayment from earlier 350k to 250k and also the weekly remittance from 40k to 30k?

No it’s not the company, I’m just doing survey to get feedbacks, it’s just like trying to sell a product and giving an asking price to know the regulated price, what I’m sure and can confirm to you is that the HP is 2.5M to 2.6M for Toyota Corolla 2005 to 2007 model, I don’t know the weekly remittance and downpayment yet, the company will decide on that after checking our feedbacks

Is this car still away or in Naija and
Secondly, please why will they be giving you a new car upon completion of hire purchase payment, and is it by choice of the driver collect new one or retain old one
Thirdly, what will the old car now be used for?
Sorry for the many questions.

tell your company that the regular downpayment is 100k sometimes 150k. But I prefer 100k though and secondly weekly delivery is 30k... Then lastly what is the catch in collecting the car and giving me a new car, this is Naija... Except they are Toyota manufacturer, you never can tell

They have 10 cars already but I don’t have the pictures cos I was recently employed, giving out new car is optional, it’s only to ginger some driver that wishes to get another new car on completion of the payment cos some drivers like selling off their old car and getting another new one, the old car is the drivers own cos it’s HP

Unless you have been blocked on Uber, I don't see why you are so loyal to a company that doesn't care about you. Now you are left with no choice than to recover your money yourself.

Guy there's something about bolt's fare that gives you joy.

Uber's fare can make you smash your phone!

What makes it different with same per min calculation, same base fare and only N5 diff on Kms which will only give you N100 diff on 20km.
The psych bolt uses on you is to display (your money + their money) while the others simplified it by showing you only your money.

I have bolt very much active but decided to drop off an app that doesn't give me peace of mind.
I am not even moved by their reactivation bonus offered.

They are not collecting the old one, It’s HP so the the old car becomes yours on completion of your payment, getting another new car on completion of payment is optional, they are for drivers that wishes to get another new car for HP, but only for drivers that complete their payment before the stipulated time.

Lol... E don happen o.

She booked a ride(She's in Chevron Drive). Asked me to pick some one at Cooker Bus stop Iju (Mainland). Picked the guy apparently her brother in-law.

Got to destination and Bolt decided to show itself and showed us 600 naira against the actual fare. Told the young man this can't be correct and he concurred. I didn't collect the 600 and told him I will send him the fare after review. Be accepted and asked I save the sister in-laws number be cause (Airtel is shit around there) and he can't make transfer so the sister in-laws will pay while he refund to her.

After 3 hrs review came and it was 4900. Called sister in-law, she picked and was not saying anything till I explained and she said hold on. I did and after 10mins I called and she won't answer no more. Called the young man. He's phone not reachable.

Abeg here is the sister's in-law number 09022245146 her name is chioma.

09017714097 The young man number.

Abeg help me beg them. Na my Christmas fowl money be that.

More than 60 calls and she's not picking.

CC. Kodred you see what I was telling you now? Now Bolt don leave me and MY Cross.

I think your company may not have done the basic math.....

18months is 72 weeks ideally......

If I take a car that requires me to pay #2.5m in 18months. Based on your terms

#2,500,000 - 250,000 = #2,250,000

Weekly pay of #30,000 x 72weeks (4months) = #2,160,000

So there is a difference of #2,250,00 - #2,160,000 = #90,000

For a driver that must pay #2.6m

#2,600,000 - #250,000 = #2,350,000
Weekly pay of 30,000 x 72weeks = #2,160,000

Difference of #2,350,000 - #2,160,000 = #190,000

The driver must service his vehicle, buy fuel, rest or go for holidays with his family and pay his personal bills and support family at the end of the day.

Except the driver has to make an effort to pay you higher than 30k weekly, its like the model is design specifically to make sure the drivers defaults and the car is withdrawn.

Either the firm review its tenure (number of months to pay back) to include extra weeks if you have a driver that is consistent with the 30k weekly payments over the 72 weeks or something is terribly wrong somewhere..........

Hahaha! Use N2k as an example.
25% commission leaves me with N1.5k while 20% leaves me with N16000. I have more peace with N100 short, because the rider can make a fake transfer on N1600 fare which will enter voicemail, then I will now need the help of elders here to collect my money.
Moreover, 20% has given more hope of now getting 5% but you will need to work like a serious horse cos 40 trips is no joke.

I am not a newbie in this work.
I use a very good phone and I hardly had any problems with fares on bolt while I used it. But the problem I have with them is the kind of riders I meet on bolt are just like the company itself.
How come you hardly have issues of riders not paying on Uber.
Their rating is so trashy too that you see your rating nose diving seriously.

Thanks for your comment and analysis,I’m here for survey to feedback my company, I’m only sure about 2.5M and 2.6M HP but not sure yet about the weekly payment and tenure which will be decided by the company I think this thread is the best place for survey as most people here are drivers, generally HP for tokunbo Corolla 2005 to 2007 is about 3.5M for 2 years period so I don’t think 2.5M HP should also be for 2 years, the main issue is down payment, I initially stated 350k downpayment but changed it to 250k after getting reviews on the thread, someone even said 100k but I’m not bothered cos I know most people here are drivers that already have cars and might not be interested, to be fair and logical if HP is 2.5M then the downpayment should be higher and the tenure shorter else the company will run into a big loss and fold up, 2.5M HP is only 30% interest on car valued at 1.9M, now imagine making profit of 30% over 2 years period, that’s absolutely going down the drain.

Riders are the same. The only difference is the App.

Uber covers the rider but bolt is 'so nigerian' i.e selfish.

You are right. Ubers fare is kind of low. One day I picked someone from junction from omole phase 1 to mega chicken lateef jakande. Not quite a distance, but a little traffic. End trip uber say collect #400. I'm lyk really. Wt all d pomp n all #400. On taxify its #500. At least

I picked rider from unilag guest house to obalende, end trip, uber said collect around #885 or so.

On bolt, long trips r quite a delight cos u earn roughly 82-83 naira net per km on bolt.

Ikeja/ogba/agege to VI always ends around #3100-3300 on bolt in d morning.

However, dy drop ur ratings any how on bolt.
How can you drop my ratings for not picking another client, for Gods sake, I HV not dropped off the current rider. She asked to park was buying something getting close to her destination

Before I know rating don drop by 0.05.

But uber has a fair rating system
