My few experiences in my 1 month driving with only Uber.

1. I ride on my way to the office (Lekki to VI), going back home and then weekends. I have done 128 trips (Trips request: 303, Declined: 78, Cancelled: 16)
2. I am currently on 4.81 rating ( 5 Star: 65, 4 Star: 4, 3 Star: 1, 1 Star: 2 (No Nose Mask))
3. Total net earnings: 130,524 (Including fuel)
4. Got a tip of $30 (#14,250) from a rider rushing to the international airport
5. Still struggling to get #4,900 from a woman I also took to the airport but with issues on bank transfer (Jaiz to Zenith)
6. Met different kinds of people, mostly normal. The rides are usually silent with only radio as I do not talk much.
7. I am already developing lower back pain and my odometer reading is just rising at astronomical rate.

How would you rate my 1 month report?

Poor!
Remark: President of the lazy Nigeria youth Association.

Recon: try reduce your cancellation rate or better still get a Bolt app since it serves best in "set destination". Plus... Saturday's Sundays alone you can net 25-35k (if u can drive for 18-20hrs- that's lot of hard work there) but don't expect 1USD from bolt riders oooh... na I go even pity them dash them join grin

The back pain is normal you'll get use to it soon and thw pains will disappear as you increase your driving time.

Hello Fam,

I want to try this out.

I won't be driving it, I wish I can get someone who is faithful. Am looking at informing a pastor from a good church to get me a faithful member, lol. I know toyota 2004 is popularly used, do UBER still accept this? What if I buy the car and hand it over to UBER to manage it, will this reduce the headaches?

Please advise.

Thanks

Uhnnmn uhmmn *test mic* I salute all honorable members in the house, how was work today.
Please I would like to know the best procedure towards having a driver's license.

Which option would be the best between giving an agent to do the process and procedures for me or I just head straight to Frsc office and do the registration myself.

All opinions are welcomed.

Even if Na babalawo you went to look for driver(s), the one that will give you headache will still give you.

Just look for experienced UBER/Bolt driver (verified) and choose the driver that his/her location is very close to you cos you need to be inspecting the car at least Once in 2-3 weeks. (Example if you live in Surulere, find driver living in Surulere with gated house/highly secured street and make sure you do comprehensive insurance).

Finally, pray and don’t buy Nigeria used car

any recommendation as to were to head. Money plenty for pocket rightnow even before the recession can't afford to buy new one rightnow.

Bros your problem is gearbox problem not mechanical issue and all these people you just quoted to the best of my knowledge don't specialize in that area... Tho, dont know about gazzuzz shalI even tho he is a gearbox specialist make sure ur car isn't 03, Oga gazzuzz won't work on it.

The last time I check radautoworks don't work on gearbox, but she can refer you to a competent peraon that specialize in that area.

As for blackbishop, that Oga na mechanic not a gearbox spec... And from the problem you just describe you would need a specialist advice.

I've a guy that can look at it for u if you dont mind. The guy is good at what he does. Quote me if you need his contact.

Thanks bro.

I usually get the pain when seating in the car. I would try using extra pillow on the seat. Office too na too siddon

Let me share a secret with you please don't tell anybody ooh...

For the back pains

You can tell you wife or gf to help you massage by matching on your back while you lieing flat... Please this therapy is not recommended for people( men) with pregnacy grin or immediately after eating.

Sleep on the floor with a mat or a thick cloth spread on the floor.
Mat/cloth will prevent cold from entering your body via your legs. U can have serious muscle pulls if cold enters ur muscles, etc.

Drink enough water b4 going to bed to enable proper fluid circulation.

An autopedic mattress will be nice but the flood is best for healing of the bone but make sure it's warm and not too cold.

No need to go yourself, they will waste your time and you will come back again to continue the process after the first day you go there.

Just search for pattybf here on NL, talk to her and she will get you the license even without you going to their office. Just send her the details she needs and she’s tell you when to come pick the temporary and permanent drivers license once it’s ready. She can also arrange to waybill it to you if you’re outside the state.
