Too poor.
There's this company at Ajah that goes to East with camry spider. They charge 25k per person. Three people only and they leave Ajah between 5-5:30, before 3pm, you're at Enugu.

I don't know what car you use, but assume fuelling to and fro 20-25k
Food and police 10k
Car maintenance after trip 5k
Profit, 10-15k for two days.

Car maintenance after trip to and from to Anambra State to be 5k??!!!

The last oil change alone i did 3days back I spent about 10k

Mobile is now N5800 (palm oil own oo) that's what my partner uses.
Plus 1ltr extra cos car is V6.
Filter 1k
Workamsnhip 3k.
That's about 12k self.

Hello everyone , camry 04 tyre changed from 205/65/15 to 195/65/15...is it okay ? Hope there won't be any issue later ?

If I'm to ask, whats the recommended tire spec for this car?

The only thing you changed here is the width(wideness; 205) of your tire nothing more and what this means is that the car wI'll lose some stability when compared to the former tires (205).

Infact you have really given us the real life scenario. This was the bone of contention that rider can’t report you or get your account blocked if trip did not happen. I sensed this could happen but I’ve never experienced it, so your case is the best example.

But do you know if you had just suck it in the rider would have apologized for wasting your time and your account won’t get blocked?
I’ve waited for 49 minutes paid waiting before, I was just praying rider doesn’t cancel. It was a cool place so I press seat and used it as break time.

This one enh bros the girl just jumped into the car while I was trying to drive out and the first thing she said was, "let's go"... That was what really pieced me up. I've picked up a lot of riders that took time to come out but they'll keep calling to ask for more time and when they finally come out the first thing they do is "Sorry for keeping you waiting please", but this stupid "amaca" never did any of this maybe because she thinks she works with Uber.

It's a Nigeria thing though, we abuse power

I just realised you're not much of an active driver so you may not really understand some of these things especially as your experiences may be limited to the few trips you do.

You are not looking at the fact that next time, the rider will make sure she's almost done with preparations before ordering a ride and will not keep the driver waiting.

Some of those riders who hop into your vehicle just as you arrive might have been schooled by people like felicity in the past.

Yes his account was blocked so what happened? He has survived without them and still doing okay.

God bless you.

Uber used to be my darling app then especially that time of their 3% after 20 trips but after then I'd pitied drivers using their app mostly those moove drivers.

Ur own was 49mins, see mine below grin , this happened last week Saturday, tho d direction they were going to is towards my house and there's heavy traffic already so I jst pass time waiting for them... Trip lasted about 10mins cos time has gone already(from lasuth Ikeja to dopemu) and price was #4,700, rider gave me 5k sha
What I'm trying to say is that we all have reasons for our actions cos had it been that I'm not going home or waiting for traffic to reduce, definitely I would hv cancel cos in this our hustle, time is money and it's very important. In fact I barely wait for 10mins for rider and if I knw that I'm not going to the riders direction, I'll accept and won't pick the rider's call till he cancels.

Nothing musa no go c for gate oooh...

1hr:25min waiting?

Na man u be oo

Hey ! You can’t say I’m not an active driver because I don’t drive every week of the month.

What off people that do shifts jobs ?
They work for 2 weeks and 2 weeks off. When they are off work does that mean they are not active ?
The week I’m at work I don’t drive, when I’m off I drive, that doesn’t make me less active. Though I do it as soft work now cause I saw millions in dashboard and car just dey house and it’s boring staying home all day.

Oga stay home and enjoy your time with madam n pikins demgrin leave Wuber work for d less privilege like usgringrin

Dopemu bridge, if you are coming from akowonjo/ dopemu axis to cross over to Agege n environs, after 3pm, you can't use the bridge. The landmark is two metallic beams painted yellow or so at the foot of the bridge.

The Signage is there, but there's a problem, it's at the foot of the entrance, so if you r not observant, you are already inside before you realise what's happening.

Advisory :
Stay sharp and frosty when you are on the mainland.

Drive with mental alertness whenever you are in a terrain you are not familiar with,( even Gmap will lead you astray at that point) follow the regular Keke if you are not sure.

Good one. This is why I avoid mainland trips like a plague.

I live on the mainland yaba axis.. but whenever I wan do this Wuber work, na island straight. I can only accept trips to the mainland on sundays alone.

I should not be saying this in a public forum but if its going to keep putting bread on someone's table, I guess I have done a noble thing.

The thing with staying active on bolt is to outsmart them.

Guys, get another phone and open three bolt rider accounts.

Once your client did not show up goes above 20-22%. Book yourself two times from each of the rider account and cancel.

It will raise your passenger cancelled and reduce your client did not show and you have enough leverage to slide arrive and cancel as many trips as you want with client phone number is unavailable or client did not show.

Other advantages to having multiple rider account is that you can use it to boost your ratings and also to meet your bonus targets.

PS: Note that you must not cancel more than 5 times in 24 hours else you'll be blocked for one day, then one week and indefinitely.

Dude you could build a nuclear bomb with this same energy, time and effort. Why waste it in trying to outsmart bolt.

Coming from Dopemu roundabout (Santos Hotel) trying to access the Dopemu bridge to cross the express to Pfizer side.
If u r going to IyanaIpaja or Agege from Dopemu/Akowonjo, u can't cross the bridge ones its 3pm, u either go back towards egbeda and find ur way to Iyanaipaja or u drive down to Ilezik, before Ikeja along and turn left and connect ur destination.

I doubt they can win the case in court, on what basis is the road a 1-way street by 3? any road sign to indicate? any warden to direct drivers so?

As someone not familiar with the area, how am I to know an otherwise dual way becomes 1-ways by 3 pm?

If I say pursuing 5-star makes some drivers timid, some people will say it is necessary to make a living.

I have driven on BRT lane and on sighting lastma, I moved to the main way. When they stopped me and threatened to take me to their office. I denied right there and then I had ever used the BRT lane and asked them to produce evidence that I ever did pass the road. If they can prove I did, I will accompany them to their office. After, causing like 10 mins traffic, they had to let me go because they definitely could not win the case. Immediately my case was resolved , they brought out their phone to snap anyone else passing the BRT lane.

Boss don't be fooled o, there's a sign there that says it.

Omo, in this Lagos even if sign no dey dem still dey hold person.
Cele inwards Ogunlana Extension Roundabout in surulere, no sign.
Oniru Beach road, no sign.
Sanusi Fafunwa and adjoining streets, no sign.
Ebutemeta, Yaba is full of one way roads.
Somolu too
Almost all the roads in Lagos Island are one-way

For those running away from mainland cos of one-way roads, there are as many one-way roads on the Island as there are on the mainland, its just a function of your knowledge of the roads.

Are you serious?! Is this coming from you? I though you want drivers to a.ss lick riders. Can you see that most of these riders don't deserve any good treatment whatsoever?

Bros I never said drivers should a.ss lick riders but should quickly respect themselves when it turns to argument or shouting.
Take for example you walk into a bank and you see customer service lady shouting with customer, what will be your perception about the lady ? That’s the way anybody see us and rider when shouting. For no occasion should you raise your voice, you have the right authority to report to. The first time a rider called me “ that’s my Uber driver” I wan craze . Me ? Driver ? Can’t u see my name on d app?
But while fuming, my brain just reset and said for the moment U are a driver. So why get angry ?
It’s dt Ego dt affects us in Nigeria.
It’s like calling a mechanic, “mechanic” and gets angry that I’m an Engineer not mechanic.
The name doesn’t matter, just pay me and waka
