My problem with people is being selective, just picking a part of a whole to argue ur narrative. That's intentionally being myopic. It's either a lack of intelligence or being cynical or a plot to deceive. We have to be circumspect and holistic in our discourse or the way we view issues. If u r generalising do so with the average...if u r being specific be specific and not make a single or a few people's perspective as a sweeping fact. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Pearl1910: Oga! Vikings is part of the people that literally say you can piss on your boss's head to join the hustle but his posted dashboard earnings says otherwise. So where was I wrong to say he didn't make 5k an average from his part time earnings he posted. I will say it again, I have only responded to what was posted. 1 Like |

pope191: Your AC is freezing. My guess will be your evaporator thermostat. There's a small hack, turn off the AC and allow the fan alone to blow at full speed then turn on the AC again after sometime. It should cool before it freezes again. 2 Likes |

Pearl1910: Which one is if I feel? If something is not wrong, will I be begging you. Small thing you head go deh swell Anyway as I was abt leaving island around 4 the weather was kinda cool and I notice some sought of overheating, so I put off the ac as it was working as at then. Parked and check and realise maybe the thermostat is malfunctioning or the radiator cap is not tight. I sha fix it well and told my rider no ac since I have like 50 mins traffic, I don't want to get stuck on the road. She oblige, I drove the car from phase 1 to ikoyi, no wahala, turn ac on and it's not cooling. Came down to check what up and saw this. Drove it home without ac. This morning I put it on, ac is workin extremely fine, but that sign of revving drop when ac is turned on does no do like that and it does no show any sign when put off. |

Good day my bosses in the house, I need your advice on a very important issue. I lost my job this year January but while I was working I was able to buy a Toyota Camry sport 2009 model. I want to know if I can use the car for e hailing for now at least to settle bills before I get another job, I’m not familiar with most roads on the island because I most move around the mainland and how do I avoid the law enforcement officers that want to extort me since I’m new to the hustle. |

Blackbishop: Bishop my guy...I like u. But this nonsense post don drop my respect for u. I can travel abroad as single man anytime I want to. I will not need friends or family support to do that. Don't be so low in IQ to think that anybody that travels abroad is richer than people in Nigeria. Don't ever compare me with anybody again. When I said to Pope "ur work and my work no be mate" I meant the way I work and d way he works are completely different, therefore we will have different results. I didn't mean I am better than him or richer than him. U dont know me, what makes u think I am living in penury...oh because I am an Uber driver abi? Well, I will b foolish if I stereotype or rate people I know nothing about except for what they do for a living. Dr K , Dr Ben of Automedics, Gazzuzz and Radautos are all mechanics like you, Will it not be foolish of me to think they are like some smelling, unkept and poor road side mechanics that I used to see? If I yab u back now, u go cry then maybe use oshodi thugs to treathen me, not that I care o, but I rather remain civil. So my friend, everybody has his path in life, stop comparing people based on ur perception of success or what u can see physically. Be wise!!! 22 Likes 1 Share |

3 Reasons Why Bolt/Uber Must Introduce Rider Profiling - NACORP NACORP as an umbrella body for all App-based driver partners in Nigeria have resolved that UBER and BOLT, the two Big Ride application companies will be forced to ensure safety for the lives and properties of the drivers/partners that subscribe to join their business to help them render services to riders. It is no longer news that many drivers have lost their lives while rendering this service to riders linked to them by Uber or Bolt. The two companies hardly care about the drivers safety, hence, they hardly reach out to the drivers family or have any plan of compensation whenever issues like this come up. This is one of the many reason we shall be embarking on a warning strike to show our displeasure and ask the tech-based transport outlets to correct this abnormalities to avoid further occurrences of the following: 1. DRIVER PARTNERS ARE NOT SAFE: The safety of driver partners had been severely compromised by the current system that does not have a comprehensive record of the rider/client. Hence, the rider can do anything and get away with it. This has led to lost of so many lives. 2. FAKE ACCOUNT/MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS: Bolt states that a driver partner can proceed to file a lawsuit against any rider in cases of assault. But how can you file a law suit against someone with scanty or fake records? Many email of the App where created in haste for the purpose of registering with the APP. multiple accounts are used by riders to beat the system to always enjoy cheap riders. Hence the created accounts anyhow. 3. THEFT: Car Theft is another reason why riders must be profiled and have their pictures on the APP like drivers. In many instances, riders create fake accounts that are not connected to them for the purpose of ordering rides and stealing the car from the driver partners without trace. |

Pearl1910: Mister I don't need your love first off and surely don't need your respect notably. Am not comparing and I don't give a rat about who you two mouth about. I don't hv business with thugs at oshodi bro. I stay woke. Fighting na child's play now. A foolish person thinks the way you just dish out your foolishness. So between Nigeria now and US, you think you are better off right. For once forget money and think about the peace, security, social amenities you will enjoy as a citizen or even immigrant. You are highing on your dumb shit of I can go anytime I like. Nigga you ain't shit. 73O9: No no no please don't personalize my post, it wasn't targeted at you specifically. But if it speaks to u and u feel obligated to respond to it, then I would say he showed u his part-time earnings cos u said he claimed to work part-time. He also showed u his fulltime earnings which is d one that justifies d "peeing on ur bosses head" statement. So why do u still emphasis on his part-time earnings and relate it to being too small or worthy of supporting the hussle? If u want to justify that the hussle isn't worth it, show me a full time driver that Nets on the average less than 10k everyday he works then u will be making a point. Don't cherry pick data that suits u and build an hypothesis or make a statement of fact...it will be flawed. 1 Like |
