There's no boost anything. Taxify pays divers than uber, I have compared my uber trips with Taxify with guys that did same distance, Taxify always tops uber fares by N250 to N350. Some serious get up to N400.
Even some of my riders always ask me how do uber drivers break even especially those that use bigger cars that uber fares are too cheap.
Taxify is far far better than Uber in fare, for driver, Uber that charges as low as 160 naira for a trip, even the rider was laughing at me, asking me how I even make money on it.

Infact uber is a big cheat, the fares are so so ridiculous, a rider asked me recently after drop-off that how come the trip is so cheap that there must be something wrong with my app, am not on taxify but am getting onboard this week and dumping uber for good, I don tire

i do both depending on the one that makes sense... If i am in a surge or boost area, i put on uber alone, otherwise i put on taxify alone. When request is slow, i put on both... Then put off the other if request comes on 1.... It just like one using MTN and 9mobile... Take the advantage. If you are married with one, at one time or the other you will wish you had both...

Uber is rubbish. I had to stop and I won't drive again until I get a car that qualifies for taxify which also must have small engine. I'm looking at Kia Rio 2006 or Hyundai accent same model. I can't suffer for nothing.

You cannot drive in your spare time when your energy level is green and use it to determine what is consistently obtainable.
Carshopper:

I still maintain it .. Fleet managers don't have to drive on the system .. Gazzuz drove to know what is OBTAINABLE

Don't argue blindly with carshopper ... I manage with proven facts ... 2years running (one vehicle break down, 4 still on point, same Driver for the past 1year)

I manage with facts ... grin

Practical difference between uber and taxify, i picked up a rider at ogudu GRA to gbagada phase 11. Around where i dropped him, i picked another rider, dropped her at same axis in Ogudu GRA.
See photos below
Yeah taxify pays driver more using base fare but if I get 1.2x on uber, ild take it over taxify and we all know taxify surge is almost non existent while the former has boost more often than not. Mans has to be calculating on these things.
Tomorrow for instance, uber is offering 1.1x but taxify will still give me more using their base fare so it's taxify all day till uber boost returns

From the samples on display, its safe to say Uber is more rider friendly than driver while taxify is more driver friendly than rider.
The taxify pickup location my have an unseen boost. U never can tell.
Wait till you have an issue with your fare, that's when you will know your true friend. From experience, one will abandon you while one will be there for you

You are not supposed to drive all the time ... working smart doesn't mean driving all the time ... it means taking advantage of peak times and not driving up and down like kabu kabu grin

At last you got my point, driver is not asking you to show him what is obtainable. Just give him your terms & conditions and if he agrees he takes the job. But driving for few days to duduce what is obtainable in a month is just.. laughable grin

It is so surprising that guys are realizing so late that Uber is a complete cheat. I don't drive on Taxify yet but I am preparing to dump Uber.

What I do to break even on Uber is when rider tells me where they are going, I then decide if I would put my A/C on or not. Some trips are just not worth it with Uber, I give riders all type of excuses for not being able to have air condition on the ride an be as friendly as possible to still be able to get a good rating.

Sorry. Each with his strategy
I can't turn on both apps together...
I enjoy UBER alone.
Enjoy what works for you.

Till you have which issue? I know you're talking about taxify, when you have issues with your fares, you'll complain but they won't do anything but Uber will do a refund or top up. The question is, how many times do you have issues with your fares in a month.
Don't expect win-win situation in business everytime.
Because you're scared of loosing maybe N2500 when you have issue you'll now be labouring for nothing in Uber.
It's your choice though..

WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED MYMOTO TRACKER

(1) Security: While anti-theft systems like push-buttons before car start, gear lock, pedal locks etc… are good, ONLY A TRACKING SYSTEM LIKE OURS ALLOWS YOU TO RECOVER (AND ALSO PROTECT) YOUR VEHICLE IF YOUR CAR IS HIJACKED FROM YOU WHILE DRIVING. Our trackers are both anti-theft and recovery in nature. e.g. You should shutdown your car before you sleep at night or park in a public space. Whenever you need to start the car, you enable it also.

(2) Remote Monitoring: GPS Security trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle location remotely from your phone. You are able to view your car’s location in real time (from our IOS/ANDROID APPS).

(3) Vehicle History: Through our online platform (IOS/ANDROID APPS) , you can view where your car had been between DAY X and DAY Y. A plot is shown on a map showing your car’s movement over this period of time.

(4) Remotely Stop Your Car: With our security GPS tracker, you are able to stop your car from ANY PHONE with an sms command. This function can also be carried out through our online platforms.

(5) Geo-Fencing Alarm:If your car goes beyond set a radius (or multi-point), say Lagos, you will be notified by sms.

(6) Other alarms (Over-speed Alarm, Ignition On Alarm, Low Battery Alarm ): Over-speed alarms notifies you via sms when your car goes beyond a particular speed. Ignition on notifies you WHENEVER your car is started. Low Battery Alarm lets you know when your car battery is low.

(7) Daily Mileage report (online platform): Daily mileage report shows you a daily chart (in KM) of your car.

We have heard of one or two expereience of how clients were able to recover their vehicles BECAUSE THEY HAD A TRACKER INSTALLED IN IT. We will be sharing some of them with you based on TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCES.

Story 1
During one of our installs, the client shared with us how Mr Ayo (not his real name) borrowed his brothers car, and waylaid in the night somewhere in Lagos. Unknown to the thieves, the car had a tracker in it. That same night they tracked the vehicle to a military baracks (apparenntly the thieves had accomplices with military connections). They went with the police and they were able to recover the car (THE DEMOBILIZE FUNCTION OF THE TRACKER WAS USED TO ENSURE THE CAR DID NOT MOVE UNTIL THEY GOT TO THAT LOCATION)...

Story 2
Mr Bayo was bout entering his car in the night somewhere in Lagos when he was attacked. He immediately used his phone to demobilize the car some minutes after they had zoomed away with the car. The thieves ran away when they discovered the car wasn't strating again. The car was tracked to Ajah. Apparently the thieves ran away in fear with the keys of the car grin
