I have seen things

A trip long gone cheesy I don't know why drivers keep hurting themselves. Yesterday, I was on the Island around 5, riders won't stretch beyond normal. VI to Yaba or Surulere was showing 1hr plus on the map and drivers are picking 3500 trips. Riders have no options than to increase price, if only we can stall them around some more. 2 things that crossed my mind.

1. If you are not driving and complain about low price, I'll understand. You just can't put up with the competition.

2. If you are driving and complain about low price or inability to make anything after hours of driving on rida or Indrive. Then you are part of the problem, you keep picking unreasonable trips.

For a 50 litres, if it takes a driver to use 2 days for burn it all. Then, one need at least extra 7k from what he usually make before Bala blu. And I think one of the best way to achieve that is to add at least extra 500 to 2k trips, 700 to 3k trips, 1k to 4k trips and so on. Riders are honestly not complaining with this shift in price, they can honestly understand the situation. I don't know what some drivers just can't see 5k trip, voom! They jump into action.

All these drivers are “lazy” and not ready to work according to our 2 “hardworking” Nairaland driving champions. 😆

@ Readadream, is it true? I just saw a screenshot on a group..it reveals uber now shows destination.. interesting
Here in Abuja it is no longer news na. Uber now shows destination and price. But just like the devil. That gives with one hand and takes with the other hand. Uber now charges as high as 35% commission. According to them it varies on the distance to pickup. Between 5%-35%.

Your income is your choice and is directly proportional to your decisions. I'm making money to take care of my bills. I really don't care what you or other people are doing.

I can only talk about what I do, and how I do it, along with results I get.. if it sounds too good to be true to anyone, Thier business. I don't care

The balance half tank from my full tank.
51k On App, 6K Offline. That's 57k.
Make I ask foolish questions.

- how many hrs did you work to get this?
- how many liters of fuel did you use?
- what model of car do you drive?

People that are always quick to analyse and calculate theory without doing practicals, pls come and explain this to me. Why is there wide variation in prices with minimal difference in distance and time of the trip?
I am happy I could do this when the matter is still hot.

Note: no surge in any of the trips

25% of 50k/40k is still better than 10% of 30k

There is a way Indrive fares irritate me at first glance. So before I reason it and pick, someone else has picked it.
Normally I will not do any trip of 1k on Indrive unless it's extremely short. But on Bolt, u can do three N800 trips while waiting for a 1k trip on Indrive.
Thirdly, even if I encounter 6k or 7k trip, I will still be feeling it's supposed to be more than that and select the highest price, while una go don accept am sharp sharp before me.
So Indrive doesn't shine on me everyday.
Reason why I stick with Bolt mainly , and use Indrive sparingly.

This is for those average guys. Me I'll gross over 50k today and pay only 5k. I can't relate. Me I know where to position myself every time. I don't do stupid trips, don't negotiate with stupid riders. I just accept your price if it's within my range and I move.

I bought a new phone in February. I didn't even bother to download bolt. Na so I hate am reach.

Well, I don't know the Alausa you re referring to. If it is the House of Assembly, as level 10 officer, you take home at least 300k per month with all the committees here and there coupled with other allowances. If it is training period, you can imagine take home. Training alone will give you around 150k for that month. Still asking me?

1. How often is the training?
2. Does the training cover all level 10 officers or selected few.
3. Are all level 10 officer part of committees
4. What is the take home salary of a level 10 officer in house of Assembly without all the improvised add-ons not on their payslip.

Gud afternoon house. I am looking to join this car hailing business as a driver on a hire purchase car in two to three months, are there any hidden requirements and is it still profitable given the fuel price hike?

Very low self-esteem. I see him as depressed and frustrated. It's worthless having a conversation with him. He's only here to stroke his little ego. Achievements are not what you write down on a paper but rather served on a plate. It's no fiction.
