Leave him let him take the one that is available, where you see cars? No cars anywhere o. He can't just sit down and be waiting for rental when HP is readily available. He will overcome the challenges of this hustle as long as the car is the type that doesn't consume fuel,to make it possible, let him go for a car that has engine capacity of atleast 1.5 litre downwards. For now let him just forget about 1.8 litre engine cars. This is a common sense and you know common sense is not common like they say. If possible let me forget about Corolla and go for any car below 1.5 litre engine, alot of Corolla guys are crying for fuel but they will come online to say corolla is the best.

For a full day work 12hrs, Like how much Fuel is the Corolla going to Take?

I just shared my simple opinion to look else where or do rentals to taste waters and not to start with higher purchase.

As a matter of fact I don’t believe anyone on rental or HP is making money in this hustle, they only make money to put food on table and pay small bills.

"U don't believe"... Learn, ask questions, be educated, seek knowledge about things u don't know so u can give an informed advise.
It is wisdom to learn then talk rather than speak out if ignorance.

If guys on HP aren't making money, then it means owners of cars on rentals aren't making money too. Sometimes u don't think before u talk. Cos if u did, u will not say many things that comes out of your mouth.

U now put "as a matter of fact", just to give ur half baked opinion legitimacy 😭😭

Thanks so much for the kind words. I appreciate it.πŸ™

I was just wondering @BAZ001 claims.
I'm beginning to wonder....these guys that drive Suzuki for moove and remit 56k weekly or 9,400 per day.
And they are required to do 12 trips per day.

How much would they then eventually make for themselves?

When I compare that to a 40k remittance that I would be doing, And BAZ001 says 30-40k weekly after remittance wouldn't be possible in Jan/Feb.

What then makes the difference for these suzuki guys?
Do they make less than 30-40 for themselves per week?

U r thinking...I am impressed u even know how much Moove guys deliver. Their conditions are far worse than anybody on normal rentals and HP. I hail them. Although they have alot of incentives; they get fuel money, bonuses and and the cost of car repairs is on the company not the drivers.
But to do a certian number of trips continually, everyday for a whole year is something else. I don't envy Moove guys at all but they are making money still. Just that d conditions are too strict.

NB: Don't take advise from Bazzo and Felicity if u want to succeed in this business.

Let me just make it easy for u to comprehend.
Using a Corolla u make 4x or 5x ur fuel.
So if u use 5k fuel u make 20k
10k fuel u make 40k
20k fuel u make 80k.
Provided u don't do long distance drive to pickup for a very short trip repeatedly.

10k fuel should give 27 -30k gross on Bolt .. this is for experienced drivers who understand how the city breathes.

Not some rookie who lives on the mainland and decides to take a trip to Awoyaya in the evening.

Baba, no be lie
I got a request (indrive) in phase 1. A very short distance, she puts 1900. I quickly parked to pick it before Glithronix (much respect) grin As I was about to pick, she has already increased it to 2500. Ehh! I picked, she accepted.
Madam: Please, will you go to ....... after this trip and how much together?
Me: I will, but let me check before charging you.
I checked after getting to indrive destination and came up with a good price which most riders will decline instantly.
Me: Madam, are you good with 5k, plus the initial 2k5, making 7500?
Madam: I will round it up to 8000
Me: Oh! Increased my AC to 3, make I give Madam Moscow treatment.
You no suppose fear cos I no go follow you drag this kind fare of 1.9k or 2.5k nah. grin

I picked one girl from NOUN in VI, she literally increased the fare and I picked it. While on the ride, I asked her why she did that, she said she knew that with that price, she would quickly get a driver.
There are some people who understand "situations". There are some situations you will need to leave ASAP to get to your house/destination.
But some mumu people go still reduce amount even when there's traffic at night.
Those ones go tey for bus stop. Kikikiki. 😁

I use Honda city 2007. Fuel of 5k to make 18k. My car is 1.5 litre engine. On a normal day before fuel price increment,i normally use 5k to make 37k. Though i don't work during the day time. Only night. Now i am looking forward to getting a smaller car with 1.1 litre engine capacity so i won't worry much about fuel anymore. Nowadays if you want to have savings, just focus on the cars with 1.5 litre engine capacity downwards. The issue is that Corolla mentality has finished Nigerians which is why everybody doesn't think outside the box of Corolla. Everybody believes Corolla is the only suitable car for the hustle. Those Suzuki guys don't worry about fuel,go and verify for yourself, their engine is 3 plugs. The people who came up with that idea of 3 plugs already calculated the future ahead. You think they don't have sense? If you want to buy a car for this hustle, first thing to consider is fuel consumption rate of that vehicle before every other thing, unless you want to be working for filling stations and be paying for apps without saving anything for yourself.

Princely01 and all intending hustlers hope you can read btw the lines.

If you make your judgement solely on motivation speaker pearl1910 you will end up complaining bitterly and thinking you are lazy, you don’t know the hustle you need to join telegram group or it’s your car that is consuming fuel.

Listen to pearl’s motivation when you are already in the hustle and you need to push yourself to work and earn more, e.g set 1 million target for December and you will see yourself driving day and night, no sleep no resting until your body or car breaks down or you meet the 1 million target.

Wow! Not bad.

But ok do you mean 18k gross or 18k net.
This is quite okay, thanks to the 1.5L engine.

A moove guy ones told me he did 38k gross on 10k fuel.....So that's 28k net.

10k fuel.

On Indrive, negotiated 6k with the guy and he agreed.

Total cash at hand 30,300. Bolt gave bonus to riders.

Though I still have chinkini fuel to make about 3k.

I use 2009 Toyota Camry
