I’ve kept off Rugged Mode topic for some time now but I feel it’s time to start another just to get the xcitement back.
I recently got the new album "Last Kiss" by Jadakiss and one of the tracks was titled “what if” where he featured Nas. The track is similar in style to what Rugged did in the past and didn’t even dim it fit to include in any of his albums but here was two of the world’s best MCs doing it in 2009.
The question is
what if Rugged hadn’t done it?
what if mode had done it?
what if mode did it b4 Kiss and Nas?
what if what if…, ?
I believe by now NL would have been agog with roaches who only value anything that has mode in it running round doing what they know best. Like it or hate it Rugged remains a pioneer in hip hop emancipation in 9ja and still very relevant 2day. His name is still Rugged so let the game begin and he has sky high lyrics that defies physics.
