Ohaneze is a sociopolitical group with the interest of Igbos.,It is expected of them to always shift positions depending on political outcomes.

Its not limited to Ohaneze, ACF and other Northen groups would have done same had GEJ been re-elected.

You mean order their people to reject appointment last week, then cry out for important appointments this week......how do you think that makes them appear to reasonable adults?

You know how decision making goes.

You can make a drastic decision today, only to feel touched tomorrow and have a change of heart..happens.

You need to realise the decisions by Ohaneze isnt the type you make for yourself but for the entire Igbo race..so any change of heart is with good reason and for strategic Igbo interest.

Igbos should not be seen to be against the Buhari/North-led government..speaks volumes.

Unfortunately politics played like that weakens your position because others quickly learn not to take you seriously

I ask again, if they knew last week's statement was empty posturing lacking substance, why make it?

No socio-political group now in Naij is taken seriously..

A dearth of men of integrity is the major reason.

■ Over alleged plot against Buhari, as APC leader moves to close rank with Saraki

BY LAWRENCE ENYOGHASU

Security agencies have launched a surveillance ring around a leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and others, including some members of the National Assembly, over an alleged plot against President Muhammadu Buhari.

The plot, which presidency sources said is not unconnected to the decision of President Buhari to dump several nominees submitted by some party leaders and political godfathers for ministerial appointments, has led to a move to mend fences between the two major contending forces in the Senate.

Intelligence reports had revealed that some state governors, party leaders and political godfathers, whose nominees were dumped by the President for his preferred candidates, have begun to “unleash their goons in a well coordinated media campaigns and groups’ protests against Mr President’s choice of ministerial nominees”

Saturday Sun gathered that of particular interest to some intelligence agencies keeping a tab on the plot “is the decision of an APC leader in the South-West to jet out of the country the moment he realised that he could not push through his ministerial nominees, only to be coordinating attacks against the President from his base outside the country.”

A top official in one of the nation’s intelligence agencies leading investigations into the alleged plot told Saturday Sun on condition of anonymity, “because the investigation is still at the preliminary stage”, that “a particular political godfather who has been spearheading the campaign to remove the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki has suddenly turned round to be reaching out to Senators in his (Saraki’s) camp to mend fences so as to form a joint force to launch an attack against the President.”

“We are following all of these clues and leads including promises by the same person to help crush the criminal charges against a leading Senator. This brand of politics will in no way help the ruling party and the nation. One man must not have his way in all cases and in every arrangement”, the source added.

Though the source did not specifically mention Tinubu in the chat, the APC chieftain, however, fits into all the descriptions. It was also gathered that the presidency is already bracing up for the emerging development.

It was not clear as at press time whether the Saraki camp will accept the peace deal being offered by the party leader and support the alleged plot against the President coming at a time when the relationship between Buhari and Saraki appears to be coming on track.

A close associate of Tinubu, who pleaded for anonymity, however, told Saturday Sun that indeed the APC leader was badly hurt by the rejection of his ministerial nominees by Buhari, he would, however, not have a hand in pulling down “a house he almost single-handedly built with his efforts and resources.”

Saturday Sun had in an exclusive report before the release of the ministerial nominees reported the decision by President Buhari to dump over 73 names submitted to him by state governors, APC leaders and political godfathers to draw up a list of his own choice of ministerial nominees.

Indeed, when the list was unveiled last week, many of the party leaders including Tinubu were upset and left in shock. Rather than pick the choice of Tinubu in the South West, Buhari selected former Governors Babatunde Fashola (Lagos) and Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), both estranged political godsons of Tinubu.

The party leader could also not get human rights activist, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), Prof Pat Utomi and his former Commissioners for Information and Finance in Lagos, Messrs Dele Alake and Wale Edun, respectively on the list. Falana had been tipped to emerge as the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Alake as Information Minister and Edun as Minister for Finance.

In Osun, while Governor Rauf Aregbesola is pushing the nomination of his immediate predecessor, former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, in deference to an accord leading to the latter’s defection to APC, Tinubu is said to be backing the governor’s Chief of Staff, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, who is his (Tinubu’s) blood relation.

In Ondo, the party leadership in the state is pushing the nomination of its governorship candidate in 2012 poll, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, while Tinubu is backing his bosom friend and APC National Vice Chairman, South West, Chief Pius Akinyelure.

For a group that conducts itself as a lapdog during GEJ's regime and has charged the present government several times on appointments as if Nigeria belongs to them, I believe it's quite unfortunate because it's somewhat obvious they don't know what they want.

The Ohaneze is stylishly playing petty politics here. They shouldn't fight for other geo+political zones in the west, rather they should fight for themselves.

IROHINOodua:

By Tunde Akinsola, Ibadan
Some leaders today in Ibadan warned that the Yoruba will reconsider her membership of the Nigerian federation if the cultural and political marginalization continues unabated. The summit is not impressed by the slogan of renaissance renting the air, saying that the country has merely slid into the firm grip of another self-serving ethnic cabal intent on pinning the country down in her historic state of control my vested interests.
Presided over by former Governor of the Western Region, General Adeyinka Adebayo the summit warn that the Yoruba will no longer tolerate the sustenance of the country’s garrison structure which they claim undermine self actualization of the people of the South West.
Irohinodua correspondent reports that the summit said failure to restructure Nigeria using the 2014 confab report might force the Yoruba people to review her place in a political arrangement that cannot guarantee the protection of her citizens. Factional leaders of the Oodua Peoples Congress, (OPC), Dr Fredrick Faseun and Otunba Gani Adams were unanimous in saying that the time to “leave Nigeria” and assert the sovereignty of the Yoruba people is now.
The summit strongly condemned what it described as the “invasion and killing of people in Yoruba territories” by the Fulani herdsmen. The summit held in the House of Chiefs Section of the Parliament Building of the Oyo State Secretariat with the theme “National Insecurity and the Menace of Fulani Herdsmen in Yorubaland.” The participants also decried the continued oppression of the Yoruba in their homeland by armed Fulani herdsmen.
The summit cite incessant cases of rape, destruction of economic plants that form the bedrock of the livelihood of locals, the armed violence unleashed by the nomads coupled with the consequent cultural disequilibrium the displacement of people from crisis-ridden Northern Nigeria have brought to communities in Yorubaland adding that subsequent governments in Nigeria have come into power waving slogans that end up leaving the country worse than they met it.
...
An official of the Oodua Liberation Movement, (OLM) Mr Popoola Ajayi said...the “reality is that many Yoruba people are disillusioned about the state of affairs in Nigeria and patience is running out.” He said after working for the emergence of President Mohammadu Buhari, the Yoruba people are “desperate to know if the alignment with the Fulani would lead to the restructuring of Nigeria and create political and economic freedom for the Yoruba” adding that the recent appointments by the President undermines the regime’s integrity.
He said “we the Yoruba people want to control our economy, security and natural resources including the sea ports.”
At the event were prominent Yoruba sons and daughters from the academia, politics and the Diaspora. The sponsors of the summit were Yoruba Council of Elders, (YCE), Oodua Foundation, Afenifere and the Yoruba Unity Forum, (YUF). Some of the participants included the Oyo State Deputy Governor, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo, who represented the State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi; Sola Ebiseni, who represented the Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, Pa Olanihun Ajayi, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, Pa Supo Sonibare, Prof Banji Akintoye, Prof Toun Ogunseye, the first woman Professor in Nigeria. Others were Dr Fredrick Faseun, Otunba Gani Adams, Dr Kunle Olajide, Chief Shuaib Oyedokun and the former Military governor of Lagos State, Brig-Gen Raji Rasaki among many others. The Afenifere Renewal Group, (ARG) and many other Pan-Yoruba groups were however absent at the summit.

I understand your miserable plight and so you're not far from being a mischievous juvenile whose people are notorious in making careers out of lies, falsehood, noise-making, propaganda, abuse and slurs.

At the outset of this administration it's disgruntled people like you who unceasingly rained abuses on Igbo leaders for daring to congratulate and pledge support to PMB. When Igbos began standing aloof you miserable beings still turned around to malign them to score cheap points with your slave masters.

How many of your greedy elites and e-warriors dare rise in unison to counter the pogroms, mass killings and destruction of means of livelihoods that have been going on for decades in the North? Instead you employ wicked lies and propaganda to project your Northern masters as peace-loving and accommodative. And you still lie that it's the Igbos that always provoke their Northern 'hosts' to warrant the pogroms on Igbos. Yet in the same North and Middle-belt the Christian minorities and other Southerners are maltreated, relegated to the background and even killed till date.

How many of you e-warriors have ever put up publications challenging the great evils and injustices being perpetrated by the Hausa-Fulani-Kanuris with the support of their Southern stooges? But you wouldn't because you stooges have only survived and flourished therein at the expense of others.

How many of you bigots dare challenge the political jobbers for fabricating and spreading hate messages, lies, falsehood and propaganda for many years just to tarnish the image of supposed opponents and maintain undue political gains with a view to ensuring a false 'One Nigeria'?

But you always find it easier to readily cast aspersions on the peace-loving people of the Great Igbo Nation who have been far from political power just for you to remain in the good books of the born-to-rule bigots.

Karma comes after everyone eventually...

Just like the chameleon, the Yorubas can change the colour of their skin at will and can vacillate at random between Christian and Muslim worlds whenever the evil spirit begins to operate them.
The vacillation is akin to the abracadabra of a sworn homosexual who might screw a man today, a woman tomorrow, or an animal the next time. You never can tell.

The level of Yoruba treacheery and betrayal is second to none.

Finding a reliable and trustworthy Yoruba person is like searching for a pin in a haystack. Yorubas who possess these good characters are rare.

Outlined below are the indisputable cases of the treachery of these notorious, hateful tribe.

1* Afonja betrayed his Yaribanza people to the Fulani; Ilorin still remains an Islamic caliphate till date.

2* It was the testimony of some Yoruba Action Group leaders against Chief Awolowo that was used against him.

3* Justice Sowemimo, a Yoruba judge was used by the Hausa-Fulani Government to send Chief Awolowo to jail.

4* Chief Awolowo was an unyielding advocate of true federalism but suddenly changed as soon as he was appointed the Minister of local Government and Finance.

5* General Oladipo Diya, a Yoruba man was used by Hausa-Fulani to batter NADECO, Afenifere, Odua Movement and other Yoruba struggle groups.

6* Yoruba Obas collected bribe instead of fighting for the unjust murder of their "beloved son" MKO Abiola as confessed by Oba Akiolu.

7* MKO Abiola used his Concord newspaper to fight his own brother Obafemi Awolowo.

8* The same MKO Abiola financed the coup that sacked his brother Ernest Shonekan and brought in General Abacha - an Hausa-Fulani to power.

9* MKO Abiola and other Yoruba elders even went to Dodan Barracks to congratulate General Sani Abacha for overthrowing their brother. It's so pathetic!

10* Awolowo usurp the agreement he made with Ojukwu before his release from Eastern  prison.

11* A small boy Yakubu Gowon used Pa Awolowo to cling on to power against Southern interest.

12* Obasanjo was very key to denying Goodluck Jonathan a second term.

You cannot trust the allegiance of a Yoruba man, even the Abobaku that was once loyal to the Ooni of Ife absconded when it was time to prove his true loyalty.

Karma comes after everyone eventually...

Over the years, Yorubas in connivance with their Hausa-Fulani slave masters have been plundering Eastern resources, looting everywhere and polluting the land.

4* Chief Awolowo was an unyielding advocate of true federalism but suddenly changes as soon as he was appointed the Minister of local Government and Finance.

Yorubas are not only treacherous but always at the servitude of the Northerners which is very worrisome.[/s][/size]

Frustrated juvenile, you're still bitter and angry that the same people you colluded with the enemy to almost wipe out from the surface of the earth are waxing stronger than you and your folks. I quite understand your misery but such is life.

IGBOS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THE PRESIDENCY OR POLITICAL APPOINTMENTS TO SURVIVE AND EXCEL!

Igbos quests are strictly for hardworking achievers and goal-getters, and not for traitors or lazy cowards who have only survived by being stooges and weak-minded fellows.

If you're sensible you'd be worried that your slave masters and gods have been playing your people for sports for decades now. And few days ago less than 10 Fulanis had the guts to kidnap Olu Falae (from his farm in Ondo State) and hold him in bondage for a ransom of N100m, and 200 bloody cowards like you in the farm could only but watch and later took to the Internet to rant uselessly and senselessly. To cap your cowardice you mischievously put the blame of Falae's abduction on Igbos even when Falae had revealed that Fulani herdsmen kidnapped him!

You need to channel your negative energies towards sensitizing your fellow hypocritical folks who are so confused that they now stand for nothing!

Foolish tribe. I'm not surprised. Nothing good can come out of that tribe called igbo. A tribe of thieves and bunch of losers. PMB should ensure that they don't hijack his govt like they did to Gej. Recently I noticed some people invaded my mentions and realising they was nothing to steal they left. They must have been igbos.

I know you're a hypocritical bigot from Odua Islamic Republic of Ritual-killers who have made careers out of lies, falsehood, noise-making, propaganda, abuse and slurs.

You and your folks have become increasingly irritated, agitated and rattled at the mere mention of Biaf... As verm1ns and vagabonds you and your frustrated folks have taken to the internet camouflaging as South-South people and South-East people, feigning undying fake love like never before to attempt to quench the call for self-determination.
Though Yorubas stand for nothing but tell your cowardly folks to quit running amok on almost every Igbo thread. It's pathetic already!

Yorubas shamelessly ass-lick their Northern masters and use lies, falsehood and propaganda to drag some other tribes along to cover up their cowardly mien to be able to stand the Igbos.

Yorubas have really shown that they are not intellectually equipped to make a country except Nigeria.

In GEJ's administration, Yorubas were crying of marginalisation despite the fact that many of them were duly appointed by Jonathan. Yorubas mischievously sold out their slot for Speaker to the North-West which already had VP only to turn around to accuse GEJ. What a greedy, treacheerous, tribalistic, diabolic, lousy and hypocritical parasites!

To these unrepentant hypocrites it is a crime for Igbos to complain of obvious marginalisation and exclusion from the 40 important political appointments made by PMB.

Before the 1967-70 civil war, an average Yoruba man did not measure up to the ever industrious Igboman. Even in the South-West Igbos were in the lead. Igbos were the first Black Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, the first VC of the University of Lagos and the first Nigerian Rector of the then Yaba College of Technology in the South-West; the police was run by an Igbo IG; the military as a professional institution was run by brilliant Igbos; the first president of Nigeria and the first military ruler of Nigeria.

Nigeria economy assumed a downward trend when the gang acquired all Nigerian companies by virtue of indigenization decree of 1972. But they could not manage the companies instead they ruined, defrauded, liquidated, bankrupted and destroyed all the companies - that was the mother of destruction of Nigerian economy! The swindlers indeed bastardized the Nigerian economy.
And to divert attention from their ineptitude and crass looting of the treasury they would use illogical reasoning to attempt to bamboozle other people while pointing accusing fingers elsewhere!

After more than 40 years, despite the stolen wealth, the respective regions of the criminal gang cannot be said to be transformed and be one of the enviest in the world. None of their cities could be likened to, say the least, Johannesburg!

With all the disadvantages Igbos faced and still face they rose from grass to grace and you are not even ashamed to compare them with treasury looters.

It's not how far but how well!

See the links to the news where the notorious hypocritical Yoruba tribe whined, wailed and wept accusing Jonathan of marginalization.

Obasanjo had 11 years to “do the needful” but failed Nigeria – Ameh Ebute October 21, 2014 at 10:30 am in News
By Henry Umoru
ABUJA- FORMER Senate President, Senator Ameh Ebute yesterday took a swipe at former President Olusegun Obasanjo, saying he failed to use his three years as a Military Head of State and eight years as an elected president to do the needful in solving the nation’s problems, just as he said if the former president had done his best in addressing some of these sectoral problems, Nigeria would have been better for it.

According to Senator Ebute, former President Obasanjo could not fix critical roads like the Benin-Ore road; Lagos-Ibadan Expressway; Kano-Maiduguri road; the East West Road, just as he said that even his Otta-Abeokuta dual carriage were recklessly abandoned and could not be fixed in all his eight years as President, despite having more oil money from the Petroleum Ministry over which he personally superintended as President and oil Minister. Why should a President double as the Petroleum Minister of a country?

Can you tell us the stooge to the NPC/Ahmadu bello/Balewa in the first republic? Then the stooge to NPN/Shagari/Akinloye in the 2nd republic? Then the stooge to NRC/Tofa in the 3rd republic? Then the unofficial servant to PDP/Obasanjo/Yaradua/GEJ of the 4th? Heck, now you are not even considered worthy of a junior partner in a cause you wish to die for....even the Ike Ekweremmadu commitee had to hurriedly assure your gods of your unflinching loyalty by gifting them the presidency in an election 4 years away

Igbos defended themselves against world powers-backed Nigeria and the war lasted about three years but when the big mouthed Yorubbish tribe tried their gra-gra in 1993, it did not even last two days.

Yorobbers started trouble they could not finish in 1993 using 'June 12' with their Odua Islamic Republic of Ritual-killers in mind and were expecting Igbos to fight their wars; Ralph Obioha and Bobo Nwosisi were the only people around their AareOnaKakanfo MKO Abiola when he declared himself president-elect. The arrogant and cowardly Yorubbish tribe couldn't even protect him from being whisked away like a common thief. He was eventually slaughtered like a salah ram.

During the 1967-70 civil war, the Yoruba braggart, Benjamin Adekunle a.k.a the Black Scorpion mocked the pope, Red Cross, caritas, world council of churches, UN etc, and boasted of his killing spree on the Igbo civilians.
And how did his life end on earth?

He died a miserable contractor, he was literary begging for contracts just to feed.
This is a man that ranked higher than IBB, Danjuma, Obasanjo in his hay days in the military.
The Hausa-Fulanis used him to prosecute the unholy war on Igbos, and they dumped him after mission accomplished.

The bloody general was stripped off his military title; he was discharged dishonourably without his benefits, till he died he never received a single pension from the Nigerian State.
The Black Scorpion ate his own excrement, begging Igbos to pay his medical bill to ease his pains until he chose death in 2014.
What a miserable life!

But before his death Adekunle apologised to the Biafrans for his atrocities. And he owned up by revealing the fact that Yorubas and their Northern co-travellers declared war on Biafra because of crude oil in the Eastern region and not for unity of the country!

The treacherous Awolowo betrayed the agreement he made with Ojukwu before his (Awo) release from Eastern  prison by colluding with Yakubu Gowon to commit genocide on millions of Igbo people for daring to have a separate existence.
And your god Awolowo who was later discarded by his Northern slave masters like a piece of sh1t could only but end his life in a most miserable way by suicide, just like in the similitude of rat poisoning!

Bloody Ab0ki ass-lickers and treacheerous backstabbers!

Would you still blame Igbos for your shameless cowardly disposition to your eternal slave masters?

Yorubas have lost their minds completely!

I guess the foolishness of voting a jihadist is what is making you look for who to blame for all the jihadist nonsense plaguing the land in order to paint your new furhrer as a saint.

As I have warned severally in the past here under several of my under handlers, any intention, desire and wish for war in the Niger Delta and Biafra by you coward slaves will only come back and haunt you a thousand folds!

It is obvious that Nigeria is a already a failed state as can be seen with the infinite number of imbec1les in the north and their province in Oduastan.

This is exactly how you fools still want to believe that Falae was NOT kidnapped by your Fulani masters even though the man has come out to state that it was Fulanis that abducted him but for some foolish reason you still cling to the foolish excuse that it was carried out by ND militants and or Ibos.

Why are you people so daft?

Yoruba May Pull Out Of Nigerian Union, Gen Adebayo, others Speak At Ibadan Summit

They demanded an immediate end to lawless nomadic activities in the South West warning that any community who cannot establish ranches for their flock should retreat from Yoruba territories. “The Yoruba people are no longer ready to tolerate mindless encroachment on their means of livelihood by any ungrateful tenants”, the gathering stated as part of its resolutions. The summit appear to be a mixture of Yoruba nationalists who have remained steadfast for ages and a sizeable flavour of people who worked for the ousted former President Goodluck Jonathan, leaving the possible impression that the summit has an iota of the usual sharp ideological and sometimes raucous divisions that have characterized Yoruba internal politics since independence.
Some observers think the Yoruba supporters of the ousted President Jonathan are anxious to seek relevance in a new environment that appears to have pushed them into the back bench of anomie. But the Afenifere spokesperson, Mr Yinka Odumakin said his group will always defend the objective interests of the Yoruba people. An official of the Oodua Liberation Movement, (OLM) Mr Popoola Ajayi said though the supporters of the ousted President Jonathan were prominent at the summit, the “reality is that many Yoruba people are disillusioned about the state of affairs in Nigeria and patience is running out.” He said after working for the emergence of President Mohammadu Buhari, the Yoruba people are “desperate to know if the alignment with the Fulani would lead to the restructuring of Nigeria and create political and economic freedom for the Yoruba” adding that the recent appointments by the President undermines the regime’s integrity.

After several months of studying to see what Ohaneze and Biafran agitators are about, I discovered these are mere political tools among a certain class to attain selfish interest that could not be attain having lost power. A well oiled selfish but parochial agitation of me myself and I that as no benefit for the masses of that region. Nigeria needs revolution.
