@seesaw and scamalerts1 so sorry for the refusals. Seesaw, how old is your daughter? Is it possible to leave her behind while you go alone next time? Don't liquidate your investment yet please, just take an evidence of it in case finance becomes an issue. And in your form, the visa is called B2 (medical purpose) not entry visa.

@ scam alert, based on your transcript your hubby is a biz man and you work for him and you both applied together? Hmmmm , even me will feel you guys will be potential immigrants (no offence pls just my honest opinion). Why don't you apply alone and let him serve as your tie back home? And when you were asked how do you intend paying, instead of saying bta, you would have passed him your hubby's bank statement showing more than enough funds.

All the best guys kiss

The cost breakdown from Dr ezekeil is more than sufficient for both your budget sheet and Dr's correspondence. You can estimate the rest fees like paediatric and others in your budget sheet. Oakbend uses NICS and neonatal fees varies btw 400-1000$ depending on how baby is at delivery. So you can just estimate it to 1000$.
Btw the doctor is a she not a he.

@shrekandfiona Thanks, but the business in solely an online business based in Nigeria ,i was the one managing it online so i can do that irrespective of where i am in this world?. i also think that is not a barrier.or what waht did you think?

DH, will be travelling to china from USA on a business trip but will finally come back before delivery. ( i did not reveal the info to the vo).

does it make any difference in my next application?

i also confirmed that next appointment will be in 2 weeks time and i will be due in April.

@ all kindly assit.

Don't be worried, she'll be released soon. You have so helped people out on this thread, that alone will see your wife out in no time. If I may ask which POE?

Read back what @shrekandfiona posted and thibk outside your box. The business is it not a family business? If it can be run anywhere in the world then it is not a tie to your home country.
Again, the plans one has for travel to china does not add or subtract as ties. Settle down. Think of what and what can count as a home tie and work from there.

hi. it is just better to wait till your baby is born and then your hubby takes the ds3053 to the us consulate and gets it notarised and send via courier to you. fedex. it will cost about N10k but that is the best thing to do. even if you intend to use a notary public the document really shouldn't be notarised prior to the child's birth.
that being said. el paso accepts the consulate's notarised form. 4 weeks is more than enough for documents processing. my lo's ssn came on day 8, birth certificate on day 10. same day of collection of bc i applied for passport which got out in 2 days.

Not related to your post but reminded me of my very first US visa interview when they were still at the other building. The guys waiting to be interviewed sits so close to the VO that you practically hear all the conversations btw VO and applicant.
One guy being interviewed told the VO he lives in china and does biz there. VO asks him if he speaks the local language there he answered yes. Next thing we see another guy joins the VO and breaks out in Mandarin grin gringrin My naija guy goes Ehn

Am new here, went through the earlier post. They are really helpful. Please can anybody help me with Dr fagbohun's detail, his hospital and his price range. With any useful information about accomodation close to west houston medical center or new dr fagbohun's hospital. Any information please.

I have bin a silent reader on this thread. Just an advice to those who got their visa b4 bin pregnant I don't think sending a letter of change of intent is necessary so we don't abuse it. BT rather get all ur burden of proof ready & approach them @ POE. Cos I did same & had no issues just make sure you have enough cash & ur Dr correspondence. Just my opinion.

Hi guy, I've been following the thread for a while. My DW just entered the US stress free to give birth. We got our visas last year for vacation..though we ended up not going because of me (work). Anyways to avoid unnecessary poe issues at Houston, we decided to use another poe (Florida). I will post the transcript after I gist with her.

For those in abuja looking for pta, I got for my DW at the first bank in central area. Though they have limited supply.

wink
