LadyGuinivere: LadyG,please try diamond bank hq. I know for sure that they have but not too sure if they are selling to everyone. If you know anyone that works with diamond, plead with the person very well or you can just enter the bank and beg them . Also Union bank, marina is selling too but you have to have account with them. |

Okay house I sat all day wiv DW @ stanbic they are issuing pta but with style. I noticed they turned peeps back saying they don't have but after I w refused to go home we were told we would be called. Before Friday. I have decided that w would be going to the bank everyday till friday. They have all u need is to persuade them moderately but by Thursday I intend pulling an orubebe on the entire staff and customers 2 Likes |

Mum got her white paper today at Abuja Embassey, she narrated the film she acted when the vo didn't give her her passport and only gave her a paper ( black and white for that matter), what would she do with that? She made everyone laugh so hard. Thank God for the positive story. And to everyone who has contributed to this thread making it information rich for newbies, more power to your elbows, the God of reward shall answer your prayers and reward you abundantly. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Onenigeriangirl: I used GHC for my first baby and they collected 10k for medical report. I don't know if the price is still same or it has changed. Even d fit to fly was expensive, can't remember now but I think it was also 10k. |

So here's the gist. In the spirit of giving back I went to renew my visa via dropbox two weeks ago. Last monday morning, I was in a serious brainstorming session at work, I received a call. Usually, I hang up calls at work but something told me to pick cos it's a landline call. Next thing they say they are from US embassy, in respect of my renewal. I should come for an interview any monday or wednesday from 11am. That's how my brain shutdown for the day I took excuse from work yesterday morning and carried my LO with me for the interview. At least, Sebi we are in this together! No be only me waka come. The embassy wasn't so busy, everyone was nice and courteous. I got to the queue to be interviewed by one man who just approved a family. It took a while to conclude with them so the guy coordinating the queue asked me to queue in front of a really pretty lady. She had just approved one mama going for conference and was drilling one woman going to deliver. She had all her docs and was also given. So it was my turn: Me: Hallo, Gd morning V.O: Good morning, give me a minute.... (started typing)... so you have been to the US? Me: Yes, 4 times VO: How long did you spend during the last trip? Me: 5 months VO: You went to have her? Me: Yes VO: Ok that figures, where did you have her Me: Chicago VO: You have family or friends in Chicago Me: Yes VO: Ok, do you have receipts. Me: Sure... (I pass it on to her. She flips through my receipts.) I had a CSection delivery. VO: Ok... I'm sorry we had to call you in, the next time you renew via dropbox you don't have to come in. (Hands me white paper) Me: Ok, thanks Only a few people were denied that I saw. Mostly young men. The VO's were very courteous, customer service on point. Advice to others: keep it short and simple Dazzall. 18 Likes |
