Hello everyone, pls I need advice on my visa renewal. I got my current visa for vacation but was pregnant at d time and declared it. I later sent a change of intent to d embassy as I didn't go on vacation anymore before porting for childbirth. Was meant to travel in December for a vacation but price of tickets are not smiling so considering cancelling. My visa expires in march and I'm due in may. My problem now is, will I ve a problem renewing d visa and going for another missionary journey, since I didn't use d first visa for vacation at all, just to give birth? Pls veterans ur advice will be seriously appreciated. |

bbaby84: The baby does not need to be on the itinerary in order to expedite the US passport application. They only require the flight details of the parent(s)... 1 Like |

mulberry:p I would advice you to just go ahead and renew via drop box, worse case scenerio, they would invite you to come for interview and you go with evedence to show that you paid all your bill during your last missionary journey and you allsogo with burden of proof for this journey. |

mulberry: I'm not sure I understand this your story oh.... but I'm think you have gone 4 birthing once and now want to go for anoda.. - (sharp-sharp ) but you r concerned about renewing ur visa. However, since you say u declared the pregnancy and sent the change of intent letter to the embassy, I don't think you'll have any difficultly with renewal - as long as you can show that u paid all your bills. |

bbaby84:I didn't add baby to my ticket before going to the passport agency for her passport. I included her in my ticket 2days before departure. Since the parents or mother have a ticket, that should do. |

cinakin: Chai... and I'm not a very good teacher. how we go do am now eh? Many airlines fly to JFK in New York and Newark is in New Jersey but it's a stone throw to New York. If not that you are avoiding Chicago, as a first time traveller and preggie again, the logistics of changing airport can be tiring. You can fly air France, klm, turkish, emirates, royal air Maroc, to these destinations but they will first land in their countries before heading to JFK, although JFK remains your POE, then buy domestic ticket that will take you to chicago. But the small issue is on your return, you will be stressed out using JFK out of US especially with your bags, a new baby etc. And you are looking for cheap tkt if not I would have advised you do Lagos-JFK when going and Chicago - Lagos on your return but it just might cost a little higher than usual. |
