castiello: The UK doesn't stamp on exit. They still know exactly when you've left because your airline scans the MRP part of your passport as you check in for your flight home. They then compare this against your boarding pass which is scanned as you board the plane. Airlines automatically send this passport and boarding pass scan data to UKVI, proving your exit. |

Hello good people of NL. please kindly help clarify as stated below; 1- My salary varies each month depending on how many hours overtime I work. How do i answer question of how much do you earn per month? 2- I receive outstation allowance for traveling out of Lagos, this money does not appear on payslip but it's usually transferred just like salary, how do i explain this & convince them especially when its more than my salary. 3- My trip will be self sponsored but I plan to stay with a friend who is a Phd student during my visit, is it OK to state that i will stay at his place or I should just book hotel. 4- I plan to travel in December, if i get my visa and decide to go in January, does it have any negative effect especially during future visa application. Thanks & God Bless You. |

favour0011: Why, Why, Why is it so difficult just to tell the truth? Just tell the story like you have here. Look for a ticket that allows you the layover in London. Do not buy it but have the details. Attach a copy of your school enrolment and payment as evidence. Keep it simple tell the truth. 2 Likes |

If one has a sister who is resident in the UK and she is the sponsor for a visit but due to monthly salary deduction (due to loan repayment and contribution to staff cooperative )45000 is deducted at source every month and 20000 is left can one apply for visa since the sister will take care of all expenses |

tom147: My opinion is, strictly based on what you have written. It does not show any ties to Nigeria, the sponsor would have no control over the applicant, assuming visa is issued, the applicant is not displaying any form of financial independence, why would the sponsor want to foot all the travelling bills incurred? Based on all the above, visa might not be granted. |

Hi all, I intend applying on behalf of my mum for a UK visit visa to visit me. She has been denied before because the person who handled her application then messed up, made some silly mistakes: Changed the bookings of the hotel I booked to a different city entirely different from where I am staying in the UK (Glasgow to Belfast) and also made a spending calculation of 100k naira in her application when she had about 2M in her account. So the denial was valid based these reasons. So my question, we intend using my dads account statement this time around, and he has written a sponsor letter stating hes sponsoring all her expenses (flight cost, spending money and application fees). should he include a specific amount in the letter? do I need to include my mums account statement and payslips in the application? my dad visit the UK regularly, do I need to include a copy of his visa page in her application? Thank you very much guys |

I intend to send all the document he will be needing from here ( i am a UK resident) and hopefully have him come on holiday with my mum (she does not need a visa). Could you please advice on his chances and what sort of document he wld need to provide given the fact that he is a student and not earning an income ATM. Many thanks in advance for your help |
