You don't need any transit visa as long as you are not leaving the airport into the UK and have valid US visa and ticket to your destination.

A quick one please, regardless I'm applying for UK visa end of April after my salary and documents gotten from my girlfriend who is a British citizen.
Information like,
01) Her wage slips.
02) Her bank statements for the last 6 months.
03) Her utility bills: gas, (if applicable) electricity, TV licence, (if applicable) telephone, (if applicable) (not mobile) water bill (if applicable).
04) Her tenancy agreement for the property she lives in, or Mortgage Statement if she's bought it.
05) Her letter of employment, or certificate of incorporation if she's self employed with a registered company.
06) Copy of her Passport Data Page.
07) Invitation letter / sponsorship information too
08) Travel itinerary.
09) Details of email / postal correspondence between both you and your girlfriend.

I'm submitting my bank statement starting from November to April, but I switched jobs in between, the fist 3months I was earning little over 100k, the latter 3months I was earning 300k, I've got employment letters, confirmations letters from both company and I've got a letter from my new company stating its awareness I am travelling. My balance should sum up to about 900k, I've gotten all this information which is,
1) Bank statements for last 6 months.
02) Letter of employment.
04) Passport valid for at least 6 months.
05) Letter of granted leave from your employer.
I also have pictures of me and my girlfriend when she was in Nigeria November and printed correspondents between us via WhatsApp from 1st November till now. We are both 33years old.
Please guys, am I on the right track??

My budget is 300k to 400k concerning I only have to cover my flight ticket, accommodation and feeding is covered by my girlfriend.

I also wish to include a cover letter to explain vividly my intention getting to UK, also my new company has no website and our official email is a yahoo mail, is that a problem? Plus in my confirmation letter from my new company, it states my probation was reduced to 3months based on our negotiations and agreement. @justwise what do you think my senior brother?

I used to come to this thread 2 years ago, and would read page by page till the last page, back then I had been denied schengen visa four times. (Twice by Sweden, once by Germany and once by Greece) Even Japan denied me ( I didn't intend to go to Japan though, only wanted to "build" by passport). Even though I had traveled with my wife to some low key countries (SA, Singapore, Kenya, Malaysia, Seychelles, Georgia, UAE) the "big" embassies still kept denying me. At some point I thought I would never go to Europe. Fast forward to 2017, I decided to stop applying in Nigeria, got myself a South African residence permit and moved to SA and lived there for about 5months and then went to the German consulate to apply for a Schengen visa. My wife is a Swedish citizen so visa application was free. One thing I noticed while applying in Capetown was there were very few people at the visa application center and everything was smooth and organized. I got a text after two weeks to pick up my passport and there it was - a one year multiple entry visa. Everyone who picked their passport got their visas and it was like a normal thing over there in SA, since South Africans only travel for specific reasons, they rarely overstay their visit. To cut the story short, we visited a few European countries including France and Sweden where my in laws reside and then moved to Netherlands where I applied for a residence permit as a family member of an EU citizen. Application took a little over 6 months and was told to show proof of funds over 10,000 Euros ( Because they don't want me to depend on government grants in the future). Got my residence permit last week and we immediately wanted to "test" it. So we bought our ticket to London! On arrival at the airport the check in agent at Schipol airport wasn't sure if my article 10 card could be used to enter the UK without a visa (Because normal dutch residence card holders require visas to the UK) so we had to wait another 30mins for them to confirm we are OK to board, she later came back and said we good to go. We flew into Gatwick on Friday and I wasn't even stamped in, the immigration officer understood the EU rules and only told me to fill up a landing card. Moral of the story is never give up... I was rejected too many times I thought I will never make it here, but I never gave up.

When I landed here I thought to myself (Is this the London they always hype for us in Nigeria?) Don't get me wrong though London is quite nice, bigger and much more built up than Holland. Raining and very cold at the moment so not a good time to visit. Heading back to Holland next week. Wishing every UK visa applicant a successful application.

OP is a holder of EuFam Resident permit. This is a resident permit given to non-eu family member of EU Citizen exercising their right to live and work in another member country. It is also know as Article 10 residence permit. This permit is powerful and stronger that ordinary local resident permits. The permits allows holders to visit all EU/EEA countries without an entry visa, so far they are travelling with the EU citizen. If traveling alone, they require to carry a copy of EU citizen passport and proof of relationship eg marriage certificate if it’s a spouse. Also since the OP is spouse of EU citizen, he can apply for visa to any EU countries free of charge under EU free movement laws. Hope this clarification help.
