What of letter of introduction stating his rank, duties and pay from his office? You could use that also along with salary account statements, this should show the monthly salary inflows
kirah6:
Please I hope using my husband's savings account instead of current account won't be a problem because we won't be able to get payslip from his workplace(Army)

You need his salary account to show that every month truly money comes in from his supposed place of employment..... besides you said you wont be able to get his payslips... try and get his salary account that wud show where this money enters his account every month..

Good afternoon wonderful nairalanders,i appreciate your advice and contributions towards the success of many of us here,God bless you all.
Please i need ur urgent advice and suggestions here.Am applying for UK tourist visa,I finished the application early April and printed my account statement with hope that i will see free appointment date for submission that period but was unable to get . Now i have gotten apointment date 30th May. I have to print up to date account statement but there are deposites in the accounts that is not explained in the aplication.if am to raise a doccument for it how do i explain it .the money is 1million each deposited 25/26 to further boost the account. I have transfered the money to a particular company account.
Please my people how do i explain this or should i forget it and print it that way.

My advice just print the statement of account to end on the 24 rather than printing till 25 or 26. No need printing it to avoid refusal. Bc the money came late and it will be like logement. Had it been u submitted the first time u would not av come across the huge sum. So submit the statement of account and end on 24th. If u still want to print it till 25 to show the money write a cover letter and explain to them how the money came about. The choice is yours. My advice again if u av sufficient money that covers the trip no need printing that 25th

Greetings to all the Gurus and everyone here. I picked up my wife's passport today with 6 months visa. I was running out of patience because application was submitted 16th April and we got decision notice 21 May but visa was issued 8th May. Maybe the delay was one of the problems with TLS. Many thanks to this big family for the usual contribution and corrections.

U donot need TB certificate for a visiting visa...
It's only required for settlement visas and any one hoping to stay above 6months

I guess you can do another TB test if there's a need for that but you don't have to wait for a specific date.

Though TB test is not needed for tourist visa

Please help me.....

I want to apply for a 6 months visitors visa in July 2019 for a 3 weeks visit. my elder sister is a British citizen and she gave birth last year. Now she wants me and my mum to come and visit. She’s paying for all my expenses and she has a good job. I currently earn 150k net and I am currently doing ACCA (it’s a professional exam for accountants globally) exams here in nigeria. My Mums application is fine but for my own, i am worried about how to prove strong ties to my home country. I am not yet married and I don’t have any property. I intend to state that my company is currently paying for my ACCA exams on the agreement that I work with them for 6 years so I will definitely come back. Does this prove enough ties to my home country or is this relevant.

Thank you in advance.

Attach that in your application and also explain it in the form because it will help your home tie argument

Hello all. I currently have about 5 months validity on my UK visa and passport. I’ll like to ask if it is necessary to renew my passport before traveling.

How long are you staying?

Hi guys, is it possible to pay for an expedited service after visa application submission? Maybe it can be processed quicker. Just curious

Thanks.

Maximum of 2 weeks but by the time I’ll be traveling, there would only be about 3-4 months validity left on my passport.

Since you have visa already then you don't need to renew your passport.

Good afternoon, please i'm asking this question for a colleague.

Our organisation was invited to a programme at London and he was selected to represent the organisation on a fully sponsored trip. The application was submitted with the account statement of our organisation. The inviting org has even sent a letter of invite to the Home office. However, he was refused on grounds that he didn't submit his own financial statement that reflects his income as stated in the payslips and they are not convinced he will return after to Nigeria.

These are my questions:
1. Can we reapply immediately although the event is from June 11 -13
2. Can we make use of the 5 days priority?
3. A lawyer mentioned that theres something called Judicial review that they could be applied for. I wanted to know if anyone has done this before or the process

Please i'll appreciate quick inputs.

Thank you.

That was a great blunder... He should have included his salary statement of account so as to prove that he's truly an employee in the company... its gonna show his monthly salary as on the payslip..Review would not change anything.... reapply asap and make sure you include his salary statement of account ... even if the balance is very low .... include it!!! ANY ONE CAN CLAIM TO BE WORKING IN AN ORGANISATION JUST BECOS THEY HAVE ACCESS TO THE COYS ACCOUNT ...

Good morning all the gurus in this forum. Please my salary is usually transferred into my account every month but it's not usually tagged 'SALARY'. The money is usually transferred from the company account into our account. Please can I use such account as proof of salary account. No other money comes into that account except my salary. Please I need a response to this my people. Thank you.
