Pls which is preferable.. travel with my husband for vacation we got married early this year,no kids yet OR travel alone and hubby stays behind for home tie sake. I am the travel freak.. my hubby doesn't really care.



This question is the one bothering me more.. let me bore you with my story..something happened at my company that got me 6months suspension.. nothing illegal just a female colleague showing her level of influence cos she was rumoured to be dating the owner of the company, the two females involved were sacked and I was suspended cos I knew abt it and didn't report them simply because they were in my unit,well all na still set up ..now my point is I was devastated and got 3months visa to dubai immediately just to change environment and get myself together..now to the real deal,im back in naija and I'm still kinda down remembering the whole unfairness ...so husband is suggesting this america trip,we have a family friend that's ready to invite and it will be total new experience for me.. now my fear is won't the VO start thinking why I stayed in dubai for 3months when I have a job in naija? Won't it display some sort of idleness...ofcourse I can't start explaining d suspension ish.. big red flag! Pls I don't knw how to dodge this red flag.. our HR is ready to even giive me all necessary documents from my coy for the trip.. my only fear is just the 3months I spent in dubai. even if I decide not to travel to usa for now.. no matter the time I wanna travel, this 3months willl always show up on my passport, my husband said I shd say my coy was having issues that period but what if they confirm.. or I went for a 3months course or which kind leave I go for for 3months but I really don't wanna lie. If u don't want to lie then don't lie. U stayed in dubai for 3 months because u were on suspension and had the time. Kindly do read back and see situations where honesty worked.
If u have the financial capability to travel despite not being paid for 6 months, how is it a red flag? House wives get visas. Primary school teachers with lil salary get visas. The issue is establishing your ties and the key lies in showing how u will fund your trip despite being on a 6 month job suspension.
Fill your form properly. The issue of suspension may not arise. If it does, u explain what happened.
Either u alone or both of u can apply though. I still reiterate, can u prove financial capability to do so?
Finally, what advice were u expecting when u said u don't want to lie BUT we should advice u on what to do?

Gbam! 'Smarter way' na fancy title for calling a spade an instrument of farming. That vagueness will be your undoing.
U still have a job but u are suspended. You are married. I have no idea what oga does but if e hol' em side,and una finance tidy is that not ties?
I wish to dissuade /clear your mind from looking for a back up story. Lies make u uncomfy, edgy and tense from the get go. Did u overstay in dubai? No.
U don't go shouting 'I'm on suspension' and If u are not asked u don't mention it. However if in the highly unlikely scenario that u are asked why u stayed out for so long, u say The truth.
But wait eh make I tatafo small. U stayed a Whole 3 mths in dubai?! Too mush money is worrying u.
But on a serz note now, the question u Should be prepared for is 'did u work while in dubai and did u travel with oga?'Iu

Please house I need urgent advice, I traveled to Senegal on October 2012 after I met an agent that promised to get a usa visa for me,I collected my dp 160 form from him some hours before the interview which was on the 5th of november,2012, what baffles me was that he filled I have never travel out of the country before which I did on on October that year but with one mind I have to continue with the interview but fortunately I was never ask if I have been out of the country before my visa was denied, jow I want to reapply and it shows on my passport I have been to Senegal before, and I'm scared of what to tell the visa officer if such question comes up

People's pockets and lifestyles vary. U carry what u can. As long as your balance can be verified (if the cbp is jobless enoff to srart checking) to be ok to carry your trip, you are good

It sounds like you are looking for a tourist visa. If so the burden rest on you to prove you are a genuine tourist regardless of your relationship with her.

However, she can file for financee visa k1 category for you. With all your proves of relationship you may be granted the visa. This secound option is your best bet which if you may know is a migrant kinda petition for you. It grants you work permit when you meet certain criteria.

I met a Naija guy in JFK baggage claim, who traveled with only $500, he stayed two weeks like myself because I also jammed him at the airport on our way back to Naija. u might be lucky u scale through with that amount. go to travelex (There official language is "we dont have dollar" I became a nuisance on their neck + I got there 6 am) they do official rate + 3.65% or there about, and u get it in mint even inside envelope but u must supply travel document and BVN

You can't carry anything above $10,000 usd into the U.S you have to declare it before and when you arrived in the U.S
