guchi120:Send them Western Union or use world remit if that does not go through... go to GTB and get a Naira mastercard.. activate quickteller and international online transaction on the card. I think that should work. |

danosky91:Why don't you go through the IV process Visiting visa should not be abused and that's why the vo you thought was angry had to deny you. See, you need more ties to your home country to get a b1/b2 visa... Good job, travel history, family attachment back home and other factors are what vo would use to adjudicate on whether you get approved or get denied for a visiting visa.. Goodluck |

Hello house, please I want to know what went wrong in my Sister and her family interview they had in Abuja on the 19th of September. Here is the transcript: VO: Good morning Sis(Hub): Good morning VO: Please pass your passports over He passed the passports without the old one which carried his travelled history to Malaysia, though the new one carried South Africa visit Sis(Hub):He passed the family passports to the VO VO: What are going to do in the US? Sis(Hub):For Holiday and Shopping VO: Where do you intend to visit in the US? Sis(Hub):To visit some tourist site like status of Liberty etc VO: What do you do for a living? Sis(Hub): I am a Contractor supply of building material VO: Have you travel before? Sis(Hub):Yes, Malaysia and South Africa VO: What did you do in Malaysia? Sis(Hub):I went for Holiday The VO turn to my Sister and ask her question VO: What do you do? Sis: I own a beauty spot and a Boutique in Abuja At this point, the VO was busy looking at the passport, contemplating between the white and pink paper to give them. Alas! he finally chose to give them pink paper. On the form they filled, they stated that they earn 250k and 120k salaries respectively. My questions is as follow: What really went wrong with the interview? What does the pink paper stand for? Was it a mistake that he did not submit the old passport? I will be very happy to get answer asap |

danosky91: That is EXACTLY why you did not get the visa! You appear to be poor person with no ties to make them return. Going to well off relatives. You present a clear risk of overstaying. (Which you have admitted that you intend to do.) The visa officers are trained to spot problem applicants and they caught you! |

Hello Everyone, So I have a quick question. My firm recently became partners with a US Based Firm and part of the terms of the agreement include getting their Technical Hands Trained and Certified by the later. A top Management Executive (a camouflage name for the Owner) of my Firm has a property just a couple of minutes drive away from the Training Location (a 20,000 square feet service shop in Texas). I have already completed and submitted the DS 160 Form (where I chose my boss as my contact in the US) but I am having a double mind. My boss or The Company inviting me for a Training Who is my contact person? LadyGuinivere pls put mouth on this one. Thank you |

Hello house. I have been reading all the msgs here and to be frank I think I am about to give up going for my interview which is scheduled for tomorrow. Though a relative of mine really needs me to come and visit and she is covering all the cost. I feel I don't stand a chance. With some few reasons. 1. I have never traveled out b4 even to ordinary ghana 2. Virgin passport 3. My bank statement is not buoyant enough 4. Though there is someone that wants to give me documents with a multinational company as their staff, my bank statement doesn't tally well with the job and the kind of pay. 5. I'm 26 and I look really younger than my age 6. I don't have any asset or investment here 7. Single with no issue Is there any glimmer of hope in this my case? Should I still go ahead of forget it. I need opinions pls. Thanks.. |

worry359:Why should you draw the attention of the consular officer to the fact that the nairalander had written before that he would stay back in the US? https://www.nairaland.com/1792662/u.s-non-immigrant-visas-listening/134 Your posts has been deleted severally because you fail to understand that questions are meant to be answered by the consular officer(abujaniv) and not you. Please kindly continue your good works here. |

Good Day house, I am about applying for a visa with my wife and 2 kids for Christmas holiday. I applied in 2010 alone and then I was working but got denied. Now I have a business of my own with a couple of investments too. I have traveled to Schengen this year, spent two weeks and recently just got back from Dubai with my family this August after 10 days vacation . I asked someone today how to go about applying for the visa , I was told I need to fill phone number for someone I know in the states in the form as my contact in the states and not compulsory I stay with the person in the states. I want to know if I can apply same way I applied for the Schengen , I mean just with hotel reservation and flight as I have no direct relative in the states I will fill as my contact. Also I will like to know about form filling and getting appointment for 4 of us too. Thanks. |
