Barrister Bayo Shittu is an All Progressive Congress(APC) member in Oyo State. He has been nominated for a ministerial position in the Federal Executive Council. He is not only a disciplined legal icon, but also a politician with unblemished records of public service. He contested in the 1979 general elections for Oyo State House of Assembly and won. He was two times a commissioner in Oyo State among several opportunities he has had to serve the nation.

We, the people of Oke-Ogun, see his present nomination as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a direct answer to the yearnings of Oke-Ogun patriots to contribute our quota to the growth and development of our dear nation.

We therefore, strongly believe that the National Assembly will confirm his nomination. Let all Oke-Ogun patriots and indeed, all well meaning Oyo state indigenes to stand up and support him.

He was in government in 1981-1984, and he still wants to come back, and you are here applauding him. You are a shameless thief. Don't worry, the money he paid you to advertise him, will soon choke you.

I wouldn't have supported this man's ministerial nomination if not for his competency and loyalty to GMB.Ibadan people who has been dominating the politics of Oyo State are antagonising this great son of One Ogun because they know we are going to take over Agodi House if Barr. Shittu is confirmed by the Senate. No matter their evil machinations, he will scale through tomorrow.
