stanleychimezie: Just look at this. The learned and erudite economist NOI is clearly investing her confidence in PMB'S ability to administer and transform the petroleum ministry on the basis of existing precedents and his personal attributes/political will which fuel the war against corruption, despite acknowledging that it might not be the ideal approach, and against the background of OBJ's mediocre performance when he adopted the same strategy. If this vote of confidence in PMB from NOI does not clear the ethno-partisan crust distorting the sight of some of his detractors that fail to see the path of recovery he is leading us through, then I wonder what will. 6 Likes |

The way and manner these pdp cronies keep pledging their support to Buhari on the ground of corruption makes one wonder if pdp will still be in existence by 2019.well,keep then coming when God is with you even your enemies will find peace with you. 6 Likes |

Simply put, she's indicting GEJ's adminstration obviously and she "unwisely" regretted being part of it. |

Edwin Clark, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and the list goes on... These were pillars in the last administration. The jury is still out on whether President Jonathan meant well for the nation. But one thing is certain: his reign will be remembered for the sharp division this country experienced along ethnic, religious and tribal lines. Monumental corruption in public office was exalted as an article of faith. If the comments attributed to Mrs Iweala is true, then it's a sad commentary on the ex President's legacy. Never again will we have someone unprepared for the office of President and commander in chief. The chickens are coming home to roost. 8 Likes |

omenka: I am shocked to see that your comment had been on the air for hours, yet Im the first to endorse you. In fact i had intended to write a mouthful in donation to socialmediaman, whose entry i find offending and insulting in its inferrence tbat NOI does not act on her own will and the ex MD of World Bank is a victim played and used by others for their corrupt ambitions. A pliable person is a misfit in the arena of finance and economy. If its true NOI was a victim of more assertive and selfis crooks then she needs to resign from public service and stay away from partisan politics, she should go and start lecturing in university, thats best for her to tell students her regrets about being an errand minister for money launderers and smugglers. Omenka, will you kindly take socialmediaman under your wings and tutor him on PR in Nairaland. Thanks bro for your input, very well composed, I was drooling in awe! |

MayorofLagos:You can see I "edited" it. The later part came after someone supplied a credible source- I don't take anything written by savinggracereporters, trent, guardiannewsusa, breakingtimes or hopefornigeria, seriously. The later part of the comment was included about 30mins ago. And thanks for the complement. |

azzima:Sorry, this is a case of people applying common sense. It has nothing to do with loyalty to anyone, besides, a true patriot should primarily be loyal to country and not to any funny hat wearing individual. NOI has just subtly hinted her regrets for having to work in one of the most shamelessly corrupt regimes in the world. 1 Like |

socialmediaman:Really?? Are you playing the victim card for NOI? She was clearly complicit in the corruption that happened unabated in the previous government, else why did she come out to openly criticize SLS who had the audacity to blow the whistle. If she had any modicum of dignity left in her (i.e assuming your theory is true), then she should have resigned from the government to show her non approval. |

Adminisher:Yes mr Iknowitall,GEJ is not man ought to be president of Nigeria but need to lead the commonwealth nations which comprises of 33 member nations ok, is because of myopic people like you that Iweala is regretting serving such ingrate people who can't even stand her children. Get a life and live ,he was your president for about five years and can't take that from him. 1 Like |

omowolewa:let's take a close look on weather Buhari is really fighting corruption or going after those who doesn't support his presidency. For instance, Timipre Sylva was confirmed ole and mercilessly corrupt of which he was answering to the anti graft agency, has the monies he looted returned to the state, was he acquitted no, remember this was somebody we Bayelsans stone as if the muslems were stoning their devil but today he is compensated with apc governorship ticket in the state because Sylva supported him, think of Audu Abubakar with the same credentials of corruption if not more, to the extent of saying if you vote me in, I will return the 11b stole from you,so if he doesn't win what hapen? Is that not madness yet the same Buhari compensated him with apc governorship ticket in kogi now tell me, is any ready to get it right? These are few of such million cases. Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are 1 Like |

MayorofLagos: My earlier comment was an indictment of NOI. I was a critic of hers without taking away some of her achievements! I didn't say she wasn't guilty, I said she was used, she became complicit because morals was absent in GEJ's government. Yes she's probably guilty of corruption, But NO, I don't think she came into government to steal like many others. 1 Like |

Bevista: A small part of me still pities some of these professionals who got bought into GEJ's web of corruption at the detriment of Nigerians. Maybe she was used and she became complicit which makes her guilty but also teaches us something which was the lesson I intended to convey. She could've resigned while she still had her name, greed got to her. All I can say is thank God we pushed those criminals out. |

Go check the records of all those supporting gej and their mental capacity.... most of them are not very smart, what do you expect from the followers of a clown as a president and the most annoying part is gej was a lecturer and a phd holder, I wonder what he was passing to his students then. That man is a disgrace to Nigeria, a country where you have smart people in all sectors to be lead by gej, that was God punishing us. And we wondered how he married mama patience, beds of same feather flock together. 1 Like |
