The initial agreement signed with the villagers was that 40% staff of these organisations will be indigenes and basic amenities will be provided for the communities to give them succour on their farmlands and houses that was forcefully taken over by the state government.

To the best of my knowledge, only two speed boats was given to the community.
and Only unskiled labour was employed by the management, they never employed any of the skilled workforce because they believe they will ask questions.

My grandfather has a palm oil processing plant and several cultivated farmlands, these have been take over by the government.

You cant steal from the people hiding under law and expect them not to fight back.

These villages have no electricity for the past 4 years, even Lekki local development council runs on generator.

The govt uses a divide and rule strategy to break them. 90% of the workforce are from Lagos Island "Disu's family". i can mention names if need be.

They are always silenced by the government in power using legal means....these are impoverished farmers who cannot afford the services of a SAN.

If you are taking something from me to make it better, i should be either well compensated or have a stake in the finished product.

I hope it doesnt end like the Niger Delta Crisis.
It became public knowledge because Mr Disu died, but two other indigenes also lost their lives, and this is not the first time the indigenes have been killed on their land.

I will add more background updates as much as google helps me
