Almost all the state roads are bad. This is not actually his fault because hardly will you see anyone that last for 5 years.I expect him to continue the window dressing like Fashola but the Orobo governor is busy sleeping.

It is time for Lagosians (indegenes) to protest the massive and unacceptable level of immigration into the state. The continuous influx of Igbos who are abandoning their land for Lagos is downright unsustainable and we should start speaking out forcefully. The infrastructure simply can not cope with the number of inhabitants there. Abuja is the capital of Nigeria.

Ambode is NOT fit to be a governor, and not even for a complex city like Lagos.

This is what you get when you promote partisanship over ability and capability.

When a tin-god pushes his luck too far to lord his puppet over a cosmopolitan city like Lagos, because of the drive and huge to continue his enslavement and professional way of looting.

I admonish Ambode to stop the caricature and playboy attitude and start the real business of governance.

2019 is not too far.

Things aren't getting worse in Lagos. Things are the same as they have been for years now. Go and ask people in Ejigbo and other forsaken areas how terrible the traffic has been for ages as the state govt seemed to forget they existed.

Now that areas like Lekki are experiencing a taste of what millions of lagosians have been suffering , people are taking to Twitter to whine and complain.

This type of long term planning against traffic congestion and spiraling population should have taken place a long time ago, under Fashola. But Nigerians are too busy with hero-worship to get sense.

Not a bad situation to start crying yet. Ambode has been working assiduously since he came to power, and lots of transformation has taken place in road construction ikotun Ejigbo express Road. We in this area commend him and hope he will do more after the raining season.

You are 100% correct. We don't have government presence in Badagry since independence.

Gunuvi,

You are absolutely right.

Since Nigeria returns to democracy, 1999 to date, Badagry has never seen a single Lagos state social or infrastructural development.

1999 - 2007 - Bola Ahmed Tinubu

2007 - 2015 - Babatunde Raji Fashola

2015 - - Akinwumi Ambode.

Let hope Ambode would perform and be able to touch that marginalized part of Lagos.

The performance of Fashola administration, being one of the best in his time, is extremely hyped, overrated and filled with media propaganda.

When you compare the revenue accrued to the state vis a vis its performance, you will see huge underdevelopement.

However, let see how Ambode will manage his opportunity being an opportunist.
