Baze University is a private University established by Mallam Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed (PhD) in Abuja, FCT.

The institution delivers quality by having experienced international staff, superb teaching equipment, overseas external examiners, and first-rate buildings to guarantee standards. Baze University aims to provide university education to British standards in Nigeria at about half the cost of sending a student to study abroad.

The University is taking head-on, the Nigerian issue of poor graduate quality, and is consolidating on the efforts of Government to improve enrolment and the standard of Education, particularly in the North.

Last week, the young institution graduated 206 students during its 2nd Convocation (with 11 1st class degrees). Gracing the occasion was the former Minister of Defence and former Executive Governor of Kano State His Excellency and Distinguished Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former Deputy Senate President, Distinguished Senator Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu, former Executive Governor of Kebbi State, and FCT Minister, Distinguished Senator Adamu Aleiro, as well as dignitaries from far and near, home and abroad, top government officials and from the private sector, captains of industry etc.
