Our world is full of negativity as characterized by wars,disaster, accident, sickness, losses, injustice etc. But one thing we often forget is that there are prayers for these negative events to continue on a daily basis for our survival and that of others. Some few illustrations will suffice here.1When doctors and health workers pray to God for their daily bread they are invariably asking that someone should fall sick or be involved in an accident. The answer to their prayers is nothing short of the above scenario. 2When a lawyer prays for upliftment in his career he is asking that there should be some injustice done to someone for him(lawyer) to be useful.3When an engineer pray for food on his table he wishes that someone's car or gadget would fail so that he could repair it for them 4When a clergyman prays to have his daily bread he wishes that someone would commit a sin somewhere and come to him for repentance and thanks giving. 5When a journalist prays for blessing in his career he wishes that he would exclusively uncover a big scandal that will immortalize his name for ever.6When a politician prays for success he wishes that others would perform so poorly that he will be seen as a saint or that others should loose while he wins. 7When a soldier prays for promotion he wishes that there would be a conflict where he will prove his worth. Since we are all his children and he answers prayers this may be the reason why there is so much negativity in this world.
