While other former governors were dropping their senatorial ambition in other to produce their successor diligently, while some former governors left the issue of succession to leave office happily, while some former governors lost both their senatorial ambition and successor, while incumbent Kayode Fayemi honorably lost and quickly congratulated the dogged Aya fayose, while Jonah Jang and Gabriel Suswan failed to install their successors but cooperatively handed over to an opposition winner, while Goodluck Jonathan preferred the peace of the nation to his continuity in office.
