What a lesson.

Abati is yet to tell us about his own impression concerning the GEJ administration he served in.

In the fullness of time, even Diezani will confess in court that a clueless boss is the best for a thieving employee.

Imagine that "America will know" episode regarding the missing $20B. Diezani and Okonjo-Iweala must have laughed themselves to delirium, wondering how unfortunate Nigeria is to be saddled with a gullible dunce. A kindergarten president indeed.

As for Clark, Jonathan was not lacking in the political will to fight corruption. He was busy at his Aso villa laboratory, inventing the long anticipated technology to fight global corruption.

Clown!
Very mighty heap of balderdash from Agbati. Of all people who should criticise Clerk for his latest position, Agbati is the least. What is it Clerk has done that Agbati didn't do? Wasn't he one of the fiercest critics of Jonathan and Mama Piss until he was invited to the dinner table in Abuja?? What didn't he see then which he eventually failed to see when he made a volte face. Until he answers this question, he has no moral right to question the ol man.

What about the message I sent to former Pres. Jonathan facebook inbox sharing what God revealed to me about his friends that are wearing sheep clothing on wolf's body?

No response till date...

May God give him the grace next time to even listen to what a small kid wants to share with him.

God's blessing upon you.

As much as I derided 'political jobberism', I can't but say E.K.Clark, who is well 80yrs, has come to the realization that Buhari is the best thing that could happen to our dear country after the carnage presided over by the last administration. Abati, tho as a paid writer, has definitely been deluded by ethnocentrism. The only reason he propounded as to why E.K Clark should support Jonathan was because of ETHNIC AND EMOTIONAL attachment.... Same thing that has turned our resource rich country to a redundant poor one.

Abati shld wonder...why did we vote in for Jonathan in 2011 ( well I did) and we turned our back against him in 2015??. Even Ondo, being governed by PDP, voted massively for the PMB. this is what we call democracy...and a government of the people.

Abati may be right, from his myopic point of view; but E.K. Clark is not wrong from the common and national interest point of view.

Abati's question is why didn't Clark tell Jonathan he didn't have the will to fight corruption when he was in power? Why say it now?

Hmm...gud question I agree.

But no one knows if he did or not. I don't expect Abati to have a notion that Clark should have come out in public to decry Jonathan.

A case study is Obasanjo. He did say he told Jonathan in the secret but his not accenting to his warnings prompted him to make it public. You all saw the public lash obasanjo received from the Jonathan clique. If Obasanjo had not made it public we wldnt have known he cautioned GEJ.

Perhaps he's sufficing Clark should have made it public too??...taa that would have made it easier for BUHARI

Edwin Clark was not only a back stabber but a 'front stabber' as well.Just imagine after praising Jonathan to high heavens while he was in power he now turn to bit the hand that fed him. To quote Rueben Abati,"However, the greatest defender of our work in office is not our ethnic "fathers and brothers"but rather our legacy".I think this quote would have been meant for Jonathan and if only Jonathan had heard the cries of the masses when they were groaning of resultant effect of bad leadership and not condone corruption,he would have being the best president Nigeria ever had.

Mr Abati, of all the stuff you had just written, this few lines of of yours above, was the only reasonable thing that make sense and worth remembering. It confirms your briefcase carrier status in government and knew nothing that happens behind the scene just like every one else..

Mizmycoli, the next time you want to speak out of turn & lump the whole yoruba tribe as "treacherous&deceitful" it will serve you well to remember the TRIBE of the only person standing for Jonathan out of the retinue of visible army of LOYAL "friends" & hangers on he had..

& leave that story of "notion" , "perception, "my" & " the" in the trash from whence it emerged, & having friends of yoruba stock, you have no good thoughts or opinion about the tribe.

Own it & be cool with it.

Peace out... smiley

I am not surprise anyway from the statement of Chief Edwin Clerk. It's revealing to us that he was a sycophant when GEJ was in government. To me, GEJ was a great mistake to be in power then cos most people voted for sentiment. Now, they've seen result of it.

Nigerians should wise-up, before casting your vote for a particular candidate there is need to do the following:

1. Check if the candidate have capacity to lead well
2. Conduct the Intelligent Quotient Test for the candidate
3. Check the candidate past records
4. Check if the candidate has political will to perform
5. Check if the candidate has zero tolerance for corruption.
6. Lastly, check the background of the candidate i.e experience, training, vision, past achievements etc.

If we can do these, I believe we will have round peg in a round hole i.e voting for the right candidate.

May God bless Nigeria.
