Of all the electronic media in nigeria, AIT is the worst especially during the 2015 presidential campaign in which its documentaries about buhari were cooked with hazardous lies and with hate campaign against innocent Buhari. All these hate and dubious video footage aired by AIT were masterminded by PDP and jonathan to ensure that buhari did not win the election. But we knew the truth of the matter about buhari. Those who were not born or those who were still at kindergarten stage of age when buhari was the military head of state from 1984 were easily deceived by their elites who were grossly corrupt trying to ensure that buhari never made it but God so kind dealt with them by awarding victory to the APC and buhari. If I were president Buhari AIT and NTA officials must be punished to serve as deterrent to others during future electioneering campaign.

hmmm....as channels don wipe their ass for ground tire,dem wan beg nija to start watch their station again indirectly. the most pdp dependent news station ever. this is like saying "nigerians are fools". we allll watched those pdp hate campaigns for pete sakes. I hope no nigerian tunes into this station again. Channels tv ROCKS!

Ait are making me to believe I wasn't in Nigeria during the electioneering. Except if it is another Ait they are taking about, but the very Ait I was watching that time was a TV station that was airing it's programs from wadata plaza.

as long as NTA remains government funded and its DG remains an employee of the ministry of Information, their stories will always be skewed to reflect the leanings of the incumbent government. PMB's govt will also benefit from this. If the S.A is true to himself and not petty, he should champion reforms like in UK and Germany where the govt has no direct imput in funding the BBC and DW
As for AIT...I think they shouldn't apologize. as much as we need media organizations to be fair in discharging their duties the truth is they never are. They always have political leanings. Fox news in the US claims to be fair and balanced but it is always Pro republican and anti democrats. But you will never hear the Obama govt call them out like the SA just did. They championed the cause that Obama is a muslim and socialist, but never has the govt called them out.
We live in a democracy.... it's live and let live.

Obama has called out Fox News personally several times. He did it during an interview with Bill O'Reilly one time. He's also had his spokespeople take on Fox News at one time or the other. Being in a democracy requires news organizations to act responsibly delivering fair news and analysis at all times.

How AIT can decide to lie to Nigerians in this manner shows that they're a bunch of shameless jokers. Everyone knows how biased their reporting was. The owners and staff should go and hug transformer.
