The pay is not all for corpers. But theres nothing like best ppa, it all depends on what u want. I studied microbiology and my ppa is in a quality control lab. I consider myself lucky not cos of d amount im being paid but because of d experience I'm getting based on my course of study. Goodluck to u

Its expensive look at nothing less than 250k-300k minimum, if you can afford it then that is good. Corpers should realize that Abuja is not for every body and its mostly the wealthy and foreign ones that afford accommodation in the central parts and areas close to it.

There's nothing like best place to serve, depends on what you want eg money, free time, pay + accommodation, etc

But mind you, most big places don't give accommodation, except you want the outskirts of town or some military establishments (they don't really pay much and you go work there oooo)


If you're that long legged, try National Intelligence Agency' clinic, it's heaven serving there.

Some ministries sound cool oooo but be careful before they owe you and expect a debt relief from you post NYSC.

And you don't sound conversant with the town, if not you'll know how some big private hospitals work

Owk.. 1. No state allowance for corpers. Corpers serving in the area council get paid 5-6k.
2.. yes der re corpers lodge.. Yu just pay a token for maintenance. The church corpers' lodge wia my friend is currently staying dey pay 5k.
@ the nysc corpers lodge yu pay 3k for yur period of service. Heard it's 4 per room
3. Yep.. some were.. most of dem @ the Dorben polytechnic. Anything else just holla

Is there really a best place to serve

Depends on what you want and have;
- do you have accommodation or can pay for one?
- do you want your hands busy or a bit free to do other stuffs like read for exams?
- do you want good pay or free time to combine jobs?

These are the questions to ask and the answers would do the trick for you.

Where suited Mr A's plans might not really suit yours.
