Their fight for "social tolerance"/"justice" is no different from the fight of weed smokers for "social tolerance"/"justice". Both are lifestyles.

A lifestyle isn't an achievement -it's a choice. And so long we respect whatever choice(s) people make, that's enough.

However, when we start celebrating non-achievement and a person's lifestyle -it's problematic.

Let gay people do whatever they do. When they achieve something apart from their lifestyle - we shall celebrate them.

I'd post the profile of Justin Fashanu (John Fashanu's elder brother). He was gay but he did achieve something nice as the first black footballer in the UK to get signed for £1 million.
