In this age when whatever said by Pastors is believed without any question of doubt in as much as the word "Baba" is included in it. There is, need to give indepth explanations on some things regarding Truth and such is the case of prophecy in our contemporary society; speaking of Nigeria as a country. And that is why I am putting this up here for you to read. All you need to know about prophecy as a follower of Christ.


What If Prophecy?

Prophecy described, and analytically explained in the Bible by historical events is, the declaration of things past( Recreation days and Fall Of Lucifer), Explanation of the present (Nebuchadnezzar dreams) and revelation of the future (End time, Time of the ends and the one world Government). Contrary to opinions and beliefs and the made to believe that, Prophecy, is, only, the revelation of the future (of things that are but yet to be) Prophecy also entails the past and the present.

Declaration Of The Past

For example, the days of creation Gen 1:1 and days of Recreation Gen 1:3 took place when man is yet to exist but Moses was able to narrate things he was not there to witness accurately which when understood is concisely in harmony with Science all because of prophecy. If prophecy were only the declaration of the future, how then can we know how the then world was and the now world was made? Or what name can we give to such accurate explanation of the past?

Another example is the fall of Lucifer. Isaiah was not there when the rebellion took place in the then Lucifer Kingdom which was now recreated by God after the flood destruction to be our now planer earth. But he gave explanation of what transpired between God and Lucifer. The question is, are these events in the past or future? In the past of course. And before the relation of this message Isaiah had said, "For thus says the Lord" a statement denoting "Prophecy" and when he spoke, he did of the past. So Prophecy we can say is the declaration of the past.
