For the Quran to identify Jesus as a Spirit and a Word from God who was committed to Mary indicates that he was with God even before he was given to her. It is the closest the Quran comes to admitting the pre-existence of Jesus before his conception on earth. The lack of any explanation of its significance, however, suggests that Muhammad heard and adopted Christian teachings and titles applying to Jesus without understanding them or seeing their ominous implications that Jesus was more than a prophet. Jesus was a Spirit before he came to earth as a human. The Bible, in no uncertain term, testifies to this divine truth:

John 16:28: “I came out from the
Father and have come into the world.
Further, I am leaving the world and
am going my way to the Father.”

If Jesus was spoken in Quran as “The
Word of God” and as “A Spirit from
God” then these two statements would
make Jesus more than a prophet
because no man can be called by such
titles. Such titles would be appropriate
only for the one who is the unique Son
of God.

I got on the thread to see whether this would be different, but it turned out not to be.
Why can't we all mature up and stop insults and stuff like that when discussing? It's not the product of matured minds that seek, nor deserve guidance. Allaah said, " Allaah does not guide any that are deceptive and proud." We need to humble ourselves to get his Guidance.
I've gone through what malvisguy and true2god have said. For any that desire guidance, my replies have MORE THAN SUFFICIENTLY REPLIED TO ALL THEIR QUESTIONS. "spirit from Him, word from him, His word" are all used for Jesus, and other people and things in the Qur'aan, if they would bother to read and understand what I've posted. And the Quraanic verses quoted have more than sufficiently made clear the status of Jesus in the Qur'aan for any that Allaah wants good for.
But I've realized from study and experience that religious belief, any religious belief, often too strongly clouds reason such that clear things become impossible to see.
Allaah has said in the Qur'aan, "And you cannot guide any you will/love, but Allaah guides whomever He Wills."

That's a clearly false assertion, my brother. Abrahams and Moses' and others were mentioned in the Qur'aan. Read the following and note the stresses on God's sovereignty and his messengership. Allaah said in the Qur'aan 3:45-50, "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah.
He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous. And Allah will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel. And (appoint him) a messenger to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe. (I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah, and obey me."

It is ONLY Jesus name that is mentioned 25 times in the quran and even Muhammad only 4. Why?
yes he was mentioned 25 times, so what?! Moses was mentioned 136 times. Does that make him a senior son of God? Jacob was mentioned 59 times. Was he also a senior brother to Jesus in God's family?
you can hang on to many thin straws, but only a open heart and the ability to question what you've been told will help you , after God's Grace for guidance.

The unique perfection and preservasion of Mary's being, made her special for Allah to stay inside of, to reproduce Himself. Allah is everlasting and His vessel of special creation remains a reference point forever..

Truthman or whatever you call yourself, if you could exert a little effort to read a little, you would understand that I have fully replied to all the puny efforts directed at confusing the gullible ones. I read through all the questions directed again, and realise that they have been VERY FULLY AND COMPLETELY replied to. However, I do not expect all to admit such, nor that all will use their full faculties to weigh issues. I doubt you've even fully read the whole posts sef. Allaah says in the Qur'aan, 67:10-11 while describing the state of the people of the Hellfire, " They will further say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire. They will then confess their sins: but far will be (Forgiveness) from the Companions of the Blazing Fire!"
You could help yourself by reading, by being honest with yourself and not just arguing for argument sake. The Prophet said, "the worst of people in the Sight of God are the quarrelsome ones who argue for the sake of argument."

Quran 18:103-110

103. Say (O Muhammad ): "Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds?

104. "Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds!

105. "They are those who deny the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter). So their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall not give them any weight.

106. "That shall be their recompense, Hell; because they disbelieved and took My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and My Messengers by way of jest and mockery.

107. "Verily! Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, shall have the Gardens of Al-Firdaus (the Paradise) for their entertainment.

108. "Wherein they shall dwell (forever). No desire will they have to be removed therefrom."

109. Say (O Muhammad to mankind). "If the sea were ink for (writing) the Words of my Lord, surely, the sea would be exhausted before the Words of my Lord would be finished, even if we brought (another sea) like it for its aid."

110. Say (O Muhammad ): "I am only a man like you. It has been inspired to me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God i.e. Allah). So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord."
