Ethiopian Airlines said a flight, en route from Dublin Airport to Washington, Dulles Airport had to make an emergency landing after one of its engines failed. The airline said in statement posted to Facebook, “Flight ET 500 , Boeing 787-800 with registration number ET-ARF, on its way from Dublin Airport to Washington, Dulles Airport signaled a defect on its left engine and in line with our procedures, the flight returned and safely landed at Dublin airport. “The cause of the technical defect is under investigation by our technical experts in cooperation with GE engineers.” Read more ......... http://africaonline.cc/index.php/2015/10/24/ethiopian-airline-flight-experiences-engine-failure-over-atlantic-ocean/ |
