Mtn & Glo - Greedy Or Rip-offs? (Short-Code Commissions) by jahbless07: 1:15pm On May 05, 2009 |
Recently, i tried to get a short code for my business through mtech. when i got the full info, i discovered that firstly, it costs N300K to set up and then, the gsm providers will charge their commissions as below MTN 70% GLO 75% ZAIN 40% STARCOMMS 60% VISAFONE 65% ZOOM 60% MULTILINKS 50% Then finally, Mtech takes 30% of the balance. This is just exorbitant. How much then is the business owner supposed to make? i really need a shor code for my business. can anyone give any advice or is there no way out? |
