Eziachi: My Open Letter To Nigerian Biafra Fantasist by Eziachi: 11:14am On Oct 28, 2015 |
It makes me smile how Nigerians boils with enthusiasm on the mention of Biafra. Something they don't have for their beloved Nigeria. Biafra people knew themselves, as its in their blood and in their DNA. Outside that, anyone that wanted to be a citizen of Biafra will have to apply for it. All those idiots whining everyday how they are being forced to become part of Biafra are like me crying that the English royal family are forcing me to become the next in the line of throne to succeed the queen. I can only dream! All these Urhobo, Itshekiri, Edo and the likes of them including to a large extent Yoruba for thousands of years before the creation of Nigeria has no dealings with indigenous peoples Biafra, be it in trade, inter marriage, religion or culture. You are not Biafra and no one wants you as part of Biafra. Even if you wanted, Biafra people will say no. We well understood your opposition to anything that includes Ndigbo but don't hide behind that natural dislike to start fantasizing that anyone want you in Biafra. PLEASE NO ONE WANTS A NEW BIAFRA THAT INCLUDES YOU!!!. Itshekiri is too insignificant to be twisting themselves that they are wanted or to be claimed by anybody. How ironic everybody is an expert on Biafra including those who cannot even figure out or establish who their real natural fathers are with their mothers. It very childish among the half baked experts, that non is talking about a referendum if you so refined, so that you can show through your vote how much you love Nigeria. Nigerians are known for their hypocrisy. You cannot be more refined than British that granted a referendum in Scotland and Scots made their choice, instead of: you MUST be part of Britain whether you like it or not and with a 1001 reason why Scotland won't succeed. In any refendum, all these insignificant tribes currently claiming fake and insincere allegiance to Nigeria will be the first to jump the ship. But for their natural hate of Ndigbo, they opposed something they had wished for themselves, being independent from Nigeria. Throwing away the baby with the birth water. Most Yorubas are most vocal in this opposition to Radio Biafra recently but they forgot Radio Khudirat so soon. Most Yoruba are more vocal about non armed MASSOB but forgot their arms importation into Benin Republic and training of rebel army in neighbouring Togo during the Abacha era. Most Yoruba gets their attention boiled up on the mere mentioned of Biafra seceeding from Nigeria but we're openly threatening to secede with their own version of Biafra in Oduduwa if June 12 wasn't upheld with NADECO and Afenifere. How we forget very quickly. Whoever you are or whoever you wished you would have wished, please stop making noise about something that has nothing to do with you called Biafra. You have called Biafra landlocked it didn't stop anything. You have blackmail us with immaterial properties all over Nigeria, still no one cares. You have used some Igbos within Biafra itself, it didn't work. You had tried who is Igbo and who isn't, it's still not working. Even with Ayo Irikife boundaries commission after the war You have used state apparatus throughout OBJ, Yar Adua, Jonathan, era to murder defenceless MASSOB members but it didn't stop it but rather increased the agitation. For 45 years you claimed Biafra is dead instead of expressing it as your wishes and that doesn't work either. Just like China wishing that Tibet is dead. As a Biafra citizen I have more in common in terms of culture, food, inter marriage and outlook in life through historical evidence with the current English Cameroonians than you Yorubas, Urhobo, Itshekiri, Edo etc. So stop rejecting a lover that had never fancied you or let alone in love with you. You are no Biafra, no one wants you in Biafra, spend more of your fantasy life thinking how to fix your paradise Nigeria. We are sick and tired of your voyeurism. 66 Likes 12 Shares |

I couldn't have said it any better. Some people claiming that they are being forced to join biafra just looks funny to me. I would never understand it. I really don't see what others bring to the table that is worth sacrificing our cultural cohesion for. An igbo nation would never be poor, i am certain of that. They should be the ones applying to join if they had common sense. 28 Likes 3 Shares |

Itshekiri is too insignificant to be twisting themselves that they are wanted or to be claimed by anybody.I must say when I read the report on Itshkiri leaders of thought, It was a highly strategic move with timing apt. They checked their position and took a strategic posture of a united Nigeria. Now, the FG has a willing double edged sword to use against Biafra and Ijaw nation. I'm enjoying all the game play as a neutral. 1 Like |

Pa Eziachi, good to see your write-up. It is interesting to note that you craftfully left out the people of the oil rich areas of the SS in your criticisms (I will not name them here). Could it be because, come what may, you are ready to claim these people and their land as Biafra? Please remember that the entire country routed you people to prevent such abuse and domination back in the mid sixties, and will do it again if you people continue this Biafra crap. nuff said. 14 Likes |

Eziachi: Yorubas have no problem with you lots seceding from Nigeria and I expect you to know but what you should tell us here is why can't you people do your thing without dragging other people into your trouble? Since the beginning of all this your latest Biafra agitation I have not heard or seen any Yoruba leader stinking their mouth into your biafra issues but you Ibos can't do without blaming them for all your troubles. The minority groups in the SS are fighting for their right to determine where they stand but here you are trying to blame the Yorubas for their agitation. Those minorities are Nigerians like you and I for now but incase of disintegration of this country those people reserve the right to stand where they feel their interest will be better protected. 23 Likes |

Op dont even waste ur time discussing issues with these zoogerians. The biafra project shud be for igbos in the east and igbos outside the east who are willing to join biafra. All those who do not share in the biafra dream have a right to remain with zoogeria.. 7 Likes |

warrior01:I had never suffered on anything. I stand on issues is strictly based on the subject. I don't play Nigeria tribal politics, because I detest tribalism and hence it doesn't define my opinion. That's why I defend Buhari all the time, because I honestly believed that he is an honest man, until it is proven other wise. Sometimes I wish he was an Igbo man. So I had not been cured of anything. 12 Likes |

nduchucks:I did not left out any one on purpose. I used etc and as an intelligent person you knew what that means. If oil is the issue, there are loads of oil in Ngwa, Egbema, Ohaji, and billions of untapped natural gas in Anambra. Biafra won't be a repeat of Nigeria obsession with oil. Many top world economies do not have a drop of oil. The most important asset is our brains, not crude oil. How on earth do you claim anyone, especially in this 21st century? Whenever I heard this statement, it makes me quiver. These tribes are not just manufactured, they has been there for thousands of years unclaimed, so how do one claim them now. That is really mind numbing. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Good luck to Biafra. I think you'll find the non Biafrans mainly against it are the trolls. The 'for' and 'against' groups always looking for the faintest opportunities to have the last word. Probably with political maturity, there can be talks on how to amicably split if it boils down to that. The current modus operandi ala Mr N.K would only bring forward alternative macabre scenarios for all sides which at this time is not a good suggestion. 2 Likes |

Eziachi: Why can't you simply join hands with other well-meaning Nigerians to turn our great country into a first class country? Have you ever considered the fact that only 33% of the Igbos resident in Nigeria actually live in the East? You are better off embracing this great country and you do unborn generations of Igbos a disservice by promoting this Biafra. I know that you are a civil war veteran, but even you should be honest with yourself and admit that it is time to let bygones be bygones. You people lost the war - it is a simple fact and nothing to be ashamed of. It is time to move on. 4 Likes |

warrior01:No it's not tribal. Unless you think that Nigeria fighting independent from Britain is tribal to the British? Biafra issue has nothing to do with tribe. It's about us wanting independent from Nigeria like Scotland wanted from Britain. Is the Scots tribal? What is tribalism? You are welcomed to be a Biafra citizen if you applied and granted, irrespective of you ethnicity. This is not Nigeria. 10 Likes |
