Jonathan worked selflessly for this country, taking all as his own and worked for the greater good of Nigeria. In a new edition of #ReflectionsOfADon, the Don compared the situation of the Nigeria before Buhari became president, why Nigerians voted for him and what he has been able to achieve. He leaves his readers with a striking question: Do you think Nigerians have been scammed by APC and Buhari? Always think about tomorrow, with this picture, it's obvious there's no form of drainage on this road, and that's the problem with most of our roads. Drainage should be an essential clause while awarding road contracts. Channel the water, clear the water ways and e.t.c |

Where was the governor of that state during the Jonathan's administration? What is the new governor doing about it if that road is a state road? These are the questions people should be asking. |

I don't just get... so because the road leading to Jonathan's hometown is submerged with flood, that makes it his fault? Why not blame it on the governor or rather local govt. chairman ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

kaycid77:Typhoons are different. Rains are the reasons for these flood. When the roads were designed, were there proper drainage systems considered? I don't blame Jonathan either, but I'd blame those that awarded the road contracts in his local government. Good roads are not just from the shiny tars they manage to put on the ground; drainage measures must be considered as well, especially in a riverine area like that. |

philfrey08: You are now trying your best to sound fair and logical here.Hmmmm. How hypocritical can you wailers be? Obviously this post is loaded with all the ulterior motives that you can imagine. Yes. The fact is that I have seen countless posts like this clearly targeted at APC,PMB etc for example if the post was to be " Daura Road Flooded" what would have been your reaction? This is just a case of being payed back in your own coins and you complaining. My advice is for you to enjoy the bashing. You have to live with it and keep damn quiet. |

Flood is a natural disaster. Bayelsa is mostly reclaimed land that is prone to flooding. Unfortunately APC sycophants don't know this, just like their dull president they cant grasp basic common knowledge. |
