As saraki used to say I quote " I am the President of the Nigeria Senate, not the Apc Senate president. Same with Ekweremadu, he might be afrom PDP member but doesn't mean he is not the leader of Apc in the Senate too. Atleast in saraki absentia, he has every power to preside. Like ekweremadu was not presiding over the senate plenary as DSP,so he showed his disloyalty to PDP, by his refusal to join his colleague stage a walkout. Ike ekweremadu is a member of the PDP caucus in the senate,so he should have at least contributed to the debate.I believe he neither contributed to the debate nor followed his fellow PDP senators stage a walkout,just to avoid the wrath of APC senators.
