I am considering buying a vw golf3, im aware there are many versions, gti,gl,cl vr6 etc, read a lot of reviews but i'd like to know(preferably from those who have first hand experience) what model is best given priority to fuel economy, spare parts availability and price, durability and electronic stability, also if you have an estimate of the current price id be grateful.
