1. Older men make better husbands.

I have seen older men make terrible husbands. I have seen husbands who are like 10 years older than their wives behave like spoilt kids.

2. A man who drinks can never make a good husband.

You may be wrong. I know of a man who drinks (doesn't drink excessively, though) who is so very nice to his wife and very nice to people. I am talking about a very gentleman. And I know of a em... MOG who condemns beers but knows how to beat his wife.

NOTE: I don't drink.

3. A man who has given a ring is ready for marriage.

Big lie! I know of a lady who has been wearing an engagement ring for years now. The ring has even peeled and lost it's coatings.

4. He is a graduate so he is ready for marriage.

Another big lie! Being a graduate does not equate with a readiness for marriage. I know of non graduates who are comfortably married and enjoying it. And I know of graduates who have not either decided yet or are not financially buoyant enough.

5. He is 10 years older than me and so he is mature enough.

A very excellent lie. Age, especially nowadays, hardly has anything to do with maturity. You need to see 40+ men behaving like kids and teenagers behaving like adults. Remember the maxim: "Age is just a number"
