Thanks for your kind words imbued with patience, but for the umpteenth time we are here to learn, not argue and have been learning a lot from these varied teaching...


Perhaps it's because you guys have gone deeper in your walk with Christ that is making these nuggets of information we are lapping up boring and tedious to you. But please bear with us as you remember iron sharpeneth iron. Moreover 1 Peter 4:10 states that as each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace. May your labour of love and sacrifice will not be in vain Sir.

When I hear of so many deaths, it makes me sad. I think about my life. I'm not perfect, I'm a man with many flaws. But I'm still alive.


I know some friends and relatives that died this year. Good people, kind people, cheerful and smiling friends. Each time i remember them, i see their smiling faces, i cry.

I know I'm alive not because I preach God's word, or because God speaks to me or because I'm a christian.. But I'm alive because of God's mercies. His grace is sufficient for me. His LOVE has kept me, to fulfill His will before He calls me home.




I have suffered. I've seen the good and the bad. I know what it means to be rich and to be poor. I have escaped death so many times. LIFE has taught me so many things. This world is not my home, I won't dwell on material things. I'd rather die poor knowing Christ than die rich not knowing Him. God has taught me a lot and I'm still learning.



Everyone on earth needs to know that the one True God, Jesus Christ loves us. Let us go to Him in humility and sincerity in our hearts.



This Christmas season should be a time for us to reflect on God's love for us. God loves us so much He came in the flesh to die for us (John 3 vs 16). We commit too many sins but He still saves us from harm, provide food on our table, give us money, heal us from sicknesses & diseases. What more can we ask for?



Just today I heard the death of a popular Nigerian comedy actor, 'Dede One Day'. It is sad. May his soul rest in peace



Even if you don't have food or clothes or money or a job, why not reflect on the good things God has done for us. At least, You're still alive. You're alive to know God loves you and He'll give you all the necessary things of life if you trust in Him. Do His will, abide in His love.

I and I am sure a few others deliberately overlooked your first two points calling people silly and making it look like everyone on this thread is deluded and thinks having these Spiritual gifts means the person has a 5-fold calling into ministry! Whereas if you had taken to read more than the five pages you said you read you would have seen everything you said was already covered.


But are you now denying you didn't write the 3rd point up there deriding and mocking people who cannot "deliver" themselves from bondage, sickness, demonic oppression, affliction, etc

Well the thread has a purpose and its good we stick to it. Ill try to avoid arguments as much as i can henceforth. I'll like to talk about dreams. Even though who shouldn't glory in experiences but in the knowledge of our God.
Dream is a way God has been speaking to mankind right from Time immemorial. Both unbelievers and Children of God are capable of getting genuine encounters in dreams d only difference is that a believer gets the interpretation by virtue of the Holy Spirit in them why d unbelievers are left to marvel. As can b seen in d cases of pharoah, nebuchadnezar. Daniel and Joseph alone had the interpretations of dreams.
1 am currently engaged to a dreamer and I am left to wonder how detailed and accurate her dreams can be. I was about entering a relationship with another lady before I met her so i hid it from her. One day wen I felt like telling her about it, she asked me to hold on, told me d lady's name. I was shocked. I inquired about how she found out she told me that the Lord showed her in a dream. I didn't really take note of dat. Den she called me and told me something dat was gonna happen very soon., because it was a negative thing i rebuked her. She said she saw it in a dream for three consecutive days i rejected it but it happened before my eyes d next day.
Our God is great.

last three nights ago,I was teaching someone in our parlor about bible and exercising authority Jesus gave his children from book of luke 10.. the. person was misinformed to think that human instinct and nature should be applied ahead of God's word. funnily enough, the person was like you shouldn't face darkness or danger intentionally and you ought to fear traditional customs of the nights, christians should be afraid to go out at nights on certain conditions. I myself only agreed on not testing God. as I was enlightening this person.all of a sudden, I heard a mild loud bird cry close to the chairs where i sat down and I was the only who could hear it which was strange because we stay alone in a quiet and solitary compound, you can decipher and this happened at night ... my consciousness arose, I was so furious in spirit man due to fact that it distracted our discussion on spiritual warfare (a topic whose neglect has caused me alot of sorrow in time past ) ,I shouted something like any strange demonic noise,Holy Ghost.... I had not even mentioned Jesus or completed my angry authoritative statement, the noise vanished immediately. All Glory to God!!!

Last night before I went to bed, I was saying my bedtime prayers. I asked God concerning what He wanted me to share with you guys on the thread today.

I thought maybe He would show me a dream while I slept. But while praying, I heard a number.. 2427.
I didn't understand what it meant yet.

Just as I lay down to sleep. God spoke clearly, in a very calm voice. He said 'HOW TO BE STRONGER IN THE HOLY GHOST'.


I was happy to receive this message for all of us. God had answered me instantly.


So I would be discussing on 'How to be stronger in the Holy Ghost' this evening at about 7pm or 8pm.. It would be explosive by the grace of God.



Later on after God spoke, I slept and had a dream.. I saw darkness everywhere and people roaming about, there were good policemen, protecting people even as these people walked in darkness. These people were students because the environment looked like a school and the people were carrying bags and books. Each time the students moved in a group, maybe 5 or 6 of them, these police always escorted them, driving slowly in their cars, driving along side as the students walked slowly. The policemen drove in the same pace as the students walked.
The policemen were protecting them from something I couldn't understand.


These policemen were very kind and good. And their cars were really sophisticated. I remember seeing some of their cars in gold color.


Then I saw another scene. Some people were in a room discussing and chatting.. All of a sudden, there was a great darkness that came into the room and filled everyone with fear. An evil presence filled everywhere, people stopped talking and were waiting to see what happened. The evil presence was torturing some people in another room. And it felt like the evil presence was gradually coming to torture them in their own room.


Then I woke up. I understood.



The number I heard '2427' is related to this dream, which is related to God's message on the Holy Spirit.
2427 is 24, 27.

24= Heavenly Government
27= Divine Light in darkness, Holy Spirit, Holy Truth.


2+4+2+7=15.. Which symbolizes deliverance or rest.(Matthew 11 vs 28)



This means that.. God is going to bring deliverance to people via the Holy Spirit from this message in Jesus Name.. Amen.

God wants to bring deliverance here and make people see the Light. People will see changes in their lives after this message.

On the last day of Shiloh. It was the impartation service.

We had just started the service after 1hr of marathon prayer. Not quite 10mins into the service proper, this was after 7am. sleep came upon me so serious I was fighting to keep my eyes open. I thought Satan was up to something, because under no circumstance do I sleep in church. that's also because I make notes almost verbatim of what the minister says. And, it was Papa Himself ministering. So, I prayed, rebuked satan, for where? I thought of standing, but if I stood, everyone will be looking at me.
I didn't understand why I shd feel so sleepy by 7am. something I don't do even at vigils. I bind you Satan, for where? I sat up right and rocked back and forth to keep from sleeping, for where? without consulting with me, my eyes closed, and a slept off. immediately, it was like a shift. I saw myself inside a house. A very high fenced house with a big gate. I was kept there against my wish.
while there, I was also seeing what was happening outside the gate. like i was double or something.
I saw a man, tall, lanky. I can't tell if he was black or white. its difficult to describe him. he was in a company of other younger men, I knew he was their leader. ( Pls note that, I have never I had a dream having the innate consciousness that the man saw was Jesus. I have always known that the man I see always was the same person, I never knew him by any name. I never had the consciousness of who he was, only that I felt very happy anytime I saw him) but this man, I knew, I just knew that he was Jesus.

I was behind them watching wat they were doing. they walked up to the gate I was, the other men almost passed, but He went straight to the gate and with a strong voice the, ordered the gate to be pushed down, but as the young men approached, the gate flung opened by itself. Immediately they entered the compound, my eyes opened. I was still rocking back and forth. ah!!!. me? otio. Satan can't take me captive.

Whatever that means. I know that, 'Even the captive of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible delivered'. Isa49:25.

Satan will try, yes, he will, for that's his duty. But the Lord says ' lift up your heads o ye gates and be thou lifted up, o ye everlasting doors, and the King of Glory shall come in. The King, The Lord strong, The Lord Mighty in battle.

He is who has triumphed gloriously and He has brought me out of the dungeon, and has established my feet upon firm grounds.

'HOW TO BE STRONGER IN THE HOLY GHOST'.. This topic talks about God so it can be very lengthy. I'll try to keep it moderate.



HOW TO BE STRONGER IN THE HOLY GHOST

First of all, who is the Holy Ghost? The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is a Person. He’s the 3rd head Person in the divine trinity of God.
God has come to us in 3 ways. In the Father, Son and Spirit.

Father- caring for us, creating us in His image, Blessing us, Answering our prayers etc.

Son- dying for our sins that we may live again through Him, connecting us back to Him( The Father), our Mediator etc.

Holy Ghost- Our Friend and Helper in this present world. God Himself in us showing us all things through His Spirit to help us run our Christian race in this world. As we accept Jesus death and suffering for us, we become alive again and have full access to him through His Spirit (The Holy Ghost).. His Spirit(Holy Spirit) will guide us into all truth.



So it’s one God manifesting Himself to us in 3 ways. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. How glorious!


How to be stronger in the Holy Ghost is talking about having a closer relationship with God as a friend. A very close relationship with God.



A true friend is one who is always there for you, in your ups and down. A true friend forgives you when you make mistakes. A true friend is like a brother to you. You can tell him all your worries knowing that he will listen and assist you in every way possible. That’s why the bible says ‘There is a friend that sticks closer than a brother’..(Proverbs 18 vs 24)


The Holy Ghost is your friend. He is a real person. He lives inside of you when you become born-again and baptized in water in the Name of Jesus. The Holy Ghost strengthens your spirit man. He teaches you how to pray, teaches your spirit how to fight (fight evil), endows you with spiritual gifts, awakens your spirit man,etc.
He teaches us all things (John 14vs 6), including the things Jesus could have continued teaching his disciples on earth.
Jesus said



"When He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come." (John 16:13)


God wants us to be stronger in the Holy Ghost. But how can we? By reading His word. By having a real relationship with Him. Jesus once said, the time will come when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth (John 4 vs 23). This means these people will be really close to God's heart.


Some of us are Christians but we don’t hear from God and we ask ourselves why. It’s not because He isn’t speaking, but because we are not listening. We're distracted and blinded with the things of this world; money, sorrow, pride, lust, sin etc.


The Holy Spirit always speaks. We only have to be sensitive to Him to hear Him.
How would you feel to be part of a Godly group of people called ‘Christians’ but you’re not having a connection with the Holy Ghost (God).


I remember sharing an experience I had.. There was a particular girl who was possessed. She told me ‘You don’t know who I am. I’m not from this world, You think you can run away from me’.. I thought she said it verbally, only to realize that the Holy Ghost was the One that made me read her thoughts.


That is the working of the Holy Ghost. He reveals hidden things in darkness. He’s a Light in the darkness.
He breaks yokes and delivers people from bondage. He tells you things before they happen.
He’s very gentle and sensitive, so we need to be careful in our conducts as to not deprive Him of working through us.


I remember another experience of a demon confronting me physically. The first time in my entire life. How can a demon come to someone physically, not even in a dream. But it happened. I felt I wouldn’t see the next day. I was over terrified. I was even more terrified because none of my friends could stay awake to assist me.
But the Holy Ghost was there. He was always there. He taught me how to take authority on a demon.. He said, when the demon comes again, say like this ‘O ye demon, flee in the Name of Jesus’..
I repeated this prayer when the demon came and the Holy Spirit got into action, He so dealt with the demon that it made the demon scream out in pain. I heard the cry of the demon so loud, then He (Holy Ghost), lifted the demon up and flung Him.. Our cupboards all fell down and everyone in the room woke up after this. We were many in that room.

Satan and his demons are very careful about messing with people filled with the Holy Ghost.


I also remember, one morning.. I lay on my couch and closed my eyes for about 11secs. As I closed my eyes, I saw a friend of mind in the University sleeping in my parlour on the floor. He was having a bad dream and he was shouting in his sleep ‘Father! Pls don’t bury me’. ‘Father pls don’t bury me’.
I ran and woke him up. I asked him what why he was screaming. He felt embarrassed so he tried to laugh it off. He said don’t worry, smiling. Then I saw blood flowing down from his left hand. Then I saw myself and my sister who is a lawyer praying for him and counseling him.



I woke up from this trance and sent my friend a text message as fast as I could. He called me to thank me, saying he had just packed his bags and was already leaving his house to embark on a long journey to the east.

This guy had just recovered from a fatal accident some months ago. His life was haunted. He had escaped death so many times in a short period. So evil people were still after him. But thank God for the Holy Spirit.

He said God sent that warning to him through me or else he knew he would have lost his life if he had embarked on that journey.
I told him to go to his pastor and go for counseling. Also he needed to talk to his father.


That was the Holy Spirit!
He speaks.. I wish I could talk more about Him but even 20 pages on this thread would not be enough for that.
He is the Light in this present darkness! He reveals secret things. He works through God’s prophets and the people of God who have accepted Jesus as their Lord. He delivers people and set them free. He gives children, spouse, jobs, food, clothes.. Everything you can imagine.
The Holy Ghost is God’s Spirit in you.


Anytime I have a serious problem, all I need to do is pray. And sometimes before I finish praying, the Holy Ghost would reveal a solution to me.

He was the one who showed me what business I should venture into and even gave me my business name. He was the One who revealed my Spouse to be. He is the One who can reveal the solution to a long time problem in just 1 sec.


This is a message from God, not me.
How to be stronger in the Holy Ghost is how to have a stronger relationship with God. We need to come closer to God. Search deep within your hearts. Do we have a true connection with the Holy Ghost? He really wants to be close to you. Read the word of God, use the spiritual gifts God has given you, pray deep from your hearts sincerely to God, preach the word of God, Love your neighbor and do the will of God.



I pray to God like I’m talking to a friend sitting in my room. Or sometimes I like to imagine Him sitting on His throne in heaven. What moves God in prayers is praying naturally. Praying like you’re talking to a real friend, a best friend. It has to be natural and sincere. The Holy Ghost takes over such prayers. God will surely answer that kind of prayer in the Name of His Son Jesus Christ.
In everything we do, we have to be led by the Holy Ghost.. Embarking on a journey, marriage, job, business, good and bad etc. The Holy Ghost is your best friend.

If the Holy Spirit tells you something, obey Him. Don’t provoke Him for He is very sensitive.
The Holy Ghost is God's Spirit. The Holy Ghost is God inside of you. This means Power in the Highest inside you.

As many people who read this and imbibe it in their lives, their lives will receive the Light of God. Their darkness will pass and new Life from God will flow within them everywhere they go.

All I can add is, a warped perception of God distorts our fellowship with Him. If one had been taught that the Spirit is an 'it', a 'force', a metaphor for God's power and so forth, they will struggle relating to Him personally. One can't have fellowship with a non-entity or an impersonal object

This is so true ! Everything seems so connected . I thought about this morning and here I got my answer . Frank317 - Here's another example of God giving you answers to questions that trouble a christian's mind .

@Bro Charles : God bless you for that post up there. Hearing God is so germane to the fulfillment of God's purpose for our lives. This is a crucial subject. It's so important.

I desire to hear him clearly. I have had quite some experiences along that line but I am sure its not supposed to be a 'once in a while thing' but continuous. Hearing God should be part of my everyday life. As you have rightly said, the issue isn't about God not talking but his children not listening or being sensitive.

Please... Go deeper. I crave for God in such a deeper dimension as this - hearing him with such accuracy and precision that transcends human understanding

I quickly came out of the dream and began to pray when without warning I had gotten into another dream in which I saw two men standings closely, they are not discussing but were gazing into the sky,away from me and having arm folded to the chest as if they have been waiting for me to appear in the dream. Something with me is that I used to be aware that I am in a dream/trance so I will try hard to come out of the dream before unusual powers harm me. But on this occasion as I spotted this men (elderly but not old men),I had fear I wanted to get out the dream, but before I could do that they turned to me and said DONT EVER USE HER HAIR CREAM AGAIN.

I thank God He revealed this to you.
Please don't ever use that cream again as you have already been warned. If you do not listen, you'll only have yourself to blame..


The head symbolizes glory. It is pride of the body. It could be that using that hair cream transfers some of your glory to another person(obviously a bad person).


Have you ever wondered why they sometimes tell you in church to place your two hands on your head & pray agressively?
Don't let someone else tamper with your glory my brother. Don't use the hair cream again.

God really wants us to discuss on this. The Holy Spirit is quite closer to us than we can imagine. It's just like having someone close to you, right there with you, speaking to you. But you're unable to hear him talk to you.

But with a closer relationship with God. We will hear Him (Holy Ghost) clearly.

God is with us.

I'll give an example on how the Holy Ghost is really our Helper.. He's always there, we just don't always recognize His voice. If you're coming closer to Him, you'll hear Him clearer. If you seek Him, you will find Him. But we must set aside every weight that makes us fall into sin, and have a zeal to know Him better.

I was about 13yrs old at this time. I had a dream.
In this dream, I was running out from my house, holding a girl who was wearing a pink dress. This girl was my everything, my darling, my lover. That was how I felt towards her in the dream.


We were running & panting heavily because Satan was on our tail. He was chasing us with so much aggression.

After running for a while, I saw a Man on a bike shouting 'Enter'! 'Enter'!.. The Man wasn't eager to take me on His bike. He actually wanted to take only the girl.
But as the girl got on the bike, I pleaded helplessly for Him to let me on the bike. He allowed me but He only drove just about 8 feet.



Then He got down from the bike & said 'You need to do this yourself now'.. He grabbed the girl & in the speed of lightning, He ran, vanishing from my eyes.
Why did He want to separate me from that girl? I didn't understand then.

Now I looked helpless, Satan was already close by.. I ran 6 feet away from him but he had already met up with me. As he was about to grab me from behind, i turned quickly & in anger i grabbed his two hands and threw him into a small wooden house. Satan's fall caused the house to collapse.


I was surprised. I looked at my hands wondering how i did that with so much ease.
I continued running, crossed a road and saw 3 women selling oranges. I hid in-between them & begged them to keep quiet.
Now I could see Satan, beating and killing people just to pass through to get to me. He was too aggressive. He was now on the main road, searching for me.


The orange women i was with were very uncomfortable because I was with them. They kept complaining and shouting.. This now attracted Satan's attention, then he saw me.
Fortunately, the bike Man came to where I was with those women and said 'What has light got to do with darkness, Come out from amongst them'! (2Corinthinas chapt 6 vs 14-18).
He was angry and with one hand, he pulled me out effortlessly like He pulled a ball from a basket.


Now I saw myself, the bike Man(Holy Ghost) & Satan in a temple. The temple was supposed to be very quiet, there was to be no noise. It seemed like a rule. Each time Satan wanted to attack me from behind, I would beat him but very quietly.



Later I saw myself and the bike man trying to open up some doors. There were many doors attached to themselves, about 9 doors. All was locked except one. When we eventually opened the door, the Holy Spirit said 'You see, isn't it better to just enter into it than beating about the bush'?.. I entered into the door and hid myself in there.



Later on.. I now saw myself, the bike Man (Holy Ghost), Satan & a very lanky man on my balcony.
Satan was complaining bitterly about me to the lanky Man. He was accusing me of so much things I did. The truth is, Satan wasn't lying and becos of that I felt very guilty, i bowed my head in shame, quite sad, speechless.



The lanky Man didn't agree with Satan. He sided me even though I had committed so much sins. Satan went berserk.
The Holy Ghost smiled and said 'You see, Even He (the Lanky Man; Jesus)supports you'..


Then the lanky Man (Jesus Christ) said to me.. 'You need to be washed, sanctified with pure water, like a child'.. He showed me an example in the Spirit, He filled water in a white basin and poured it on a young child who was downstairs, so the water went from upstairs to downstairs on the girl. As the water touched the child, she screamed.



I told the lanky Man(Jesus Christ) i wasn't ready yet for that, I gave excuses that I would need to use soap and sponge.
The Holy Ghost, put His hand on His face. He was disappointed.
I woke up .


The work of the Holy Spirit is to assist us in our walk with God and take us into the divine will of God in our lives. He helps to direct us to our calling.That is exactly what He was doing. Helping me first by separating me from fleshy pleasures that slowed me down which gave satan a foothold in my life.

He also separated my from the things of the world so that i can enter into that room (my spiritual calling). Doing what God has called me to will automatically shield me from the attack of Satan.


Even when I was accused, the Lanky Man(Jesus Christ; His lankiness represents His death & sufferings for me) supported me.
He wanted me to be sanctified but i wasn't ready for that yet. I didn't want to give all of my life to God .




Let us sanctify our hearts, set aside our sinful ways & get closer to the Holy Ghost to hear Him more clearly.
